DIJectron Additive - Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) Cleaner (22076)

Expensive, but in fact really did clean direct injection system and cured power loss and rough idling on turbocharged IL 6. I subsequently purchased again for other cars to clean fuel systems. Easy to do, high impact.

I was researching regarding how GDI engines can have potential issues with the injectors through time. This product was reviewed by multiple YouTubers and had good feedback about it. I’ve used this twice for my 2017 Honda Civic with the 1.5 turbo engine as a preventative measure from injector failure. A bit on the expensive side but cheaper than replacing an injector.

Use this if you have a DIRECT INJECTION vehicle! It 100% fixed an issue I’ve been chasing for months now, I’ll put details below but bottom line this did what I hoped it would do and gave me better miles per gallon afterwards! I recommend filling your tank halfway with fuel, then putting this entire bottle in, before filling up the rest of the way so you have a good mix then run to empty! I had been chasing a cold start misfire for a while now and have tried everything else from spark plugs and coils and everything in between. What I came to the conclusion of was that one or more of my fuel injectors was letting a small amount of fuel leak into the cylinder causing the car to think it was too “rich” and would give a couple sputters on cold starts only before rectifying and having zero drivability issues. Operating under this assumption I put a tank of this through my car and after about half a tank (200 miles ish) the cold start misfire stopped…have run 2 tanks of fuel through it now without the injector cleaner and it has not returned! Knowing that the next steps are new injectors for $1000+ I’m very happy I gave this a shot and got an extra bottle, I plan to run one of these after oil changes moving forward to keep the nozzles spraying effectively and I hope somebody else reads this and gets a similar success story 🙌

Awesome product for cleaning fuel injectors

I was advised by a good friend, that I need to add this product to my gas tank every 5,000 miles to keep the engine clean. He swears by it and I trust his knowledge as he has a 138,000 mile car he uses it on and it's still running smooth.

Works as advertised.

Use this for engines with direct injection- had success with this in many different engines providing better injector spray when cycled. I recommend using premium (91 octane or higher) fuel while using this product for maximum cleaning effect. 2022 VW Jetta GLI w/24k miles went from 28.5mpg to a peak of over 40mpg now averaging 33-35mpg depending on driver habits.

I drive about 3000 miles a month to work and back with my 1.5L Honda Accord. I have noticed a decrease in fuel economy the last 4 months. I researched options available for fuel cleaners let alone compatibility with DI. With using Liqui Moly products in the past, I knew I would get quality results. Before DIjectron, the Avg MPGs were around 36-38. I put this in the tank with Top Tier fuel and ran it until my next refuel. I noticed an increase of 38-42 MPGs. Will continue to monitor the fuel consumption. I will continue to use this product. The item arrived timely and well packaged.
