Zhong Gan Ling Tablets, 100 ct, Plum Flower

Disappointed that twice the price now yields half the tabs, though

I bought these after reading a book about Chinese medicine and philosophy that mentioned Zhong Gan Ling as a great remedy to have on hand in case of a cold. The idea is that you take it as soon as you notice any symptoms and it should nip it in the bud. The things is, I'm never very good about noticing my symptoms, or at least admitting them to myself before they've been going for a day or two. Still, I know this medicine must have helped me get over my illness much more quickly because it was gone within a matter of days instead of weeks and months as in the past.The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I told my holistic doctor about them and he said I should be careful where I buy things like this because if they're straight from China the safety of the product could be questionable, something about how they fertilize with human feces or something like that, so I'm not sure I'll buy these again unless I can find out more about where they are from. Plus, I wasn't very impressed that they added food coloring. That is completely unnecessary.

How do you know if this actually worked. I am not worse off. Seems ok.

My cold lasted 3-4 days instead of 7-10 days because of this stuff! Works better than other Chinese herbs I've tried. Well worth the price.

I took them as a cold set in after 12 hours I noticed a difference and I was able to shake it in few days vs the normal week

My Rx was to take 3 of these 4x a day for one week. The bottle ran out in 5 days. So 40 short. In the middle of treatment.

All what I know that this stuff always works. Whenever anybody in my family sick take some of these and within couple of days you are good!

This helps to calm my sinus flare up anytime. Take on empty stomach 30 minutes before eating. You will like the relief.
