The high concentration of zinc, the ease of spreading to the skin, and the mild to moderate white cast are the three top reasons why I would recommend this sunscreen.For any fellow bearded man considering purchasing this sunscreen - your beard's Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) is not high enough to protect against UVA radiation and photo damage. Most mineral sunscreens will leave a more noticeable white cast on a man's facial hair / a beard than on skin without facial hair. Some mineral sunscreens blend well into facial hair / a beard, and this sunscreen is one of them.I use a men's face wash to wash it off in the shower; then I use a towel to rub and remove the rest of it off. It is slightly more difficult to remove than some other comparable sunscreens; but I believe this sunscreen is still a good purchase.

This creme is easily rubbed on my face. I'm prone to precancer cells so I hope this works effectively. Time will tell.

I am a woman of color, and it Does leave a white color on your skin but I was able to minimize it, using my moisturizer along with it. I am satisfied with this purchase.

Lizzo and i share the same color and this did not leave a cast on me. Tip for people darker hue: rub it in really well a little at a time. It doesnt smell bad and its mineral..which is safer.2 reasons for giving it 3 stars:1. It stays on for a LONG time, which is good BUT i washed my face three times with soap and it was still on there! It felt greasy.2. I find it very hard to believe that this is non-nano. Theres almost no white cast and nowhere on the actual product does it say it's non-nano which is way safer than nano zinc oxide. Although safer, the downside of non-nano is the white cast. I know of a few brands on amazon that are non-nano and clear but they are also very expensive (example Kokua Sun Care $30-$50). The other brands also have "non-nano zinc oxide" printed ON THE ACTUAL PRODUCT as an active ingredient on the back and not just on their amazon advertisement.

Hi, I chose 4 different high quality marine-safe mineral sunscreens and this one is the clearest without "white-cast' I will be going with this one since it also has jellyfish barrier. definitely test it out.

When I put the product up to my face, I get a strong whiff of a foul smell. I tried to use it, but I had to return it.

It’s quite thick and it takes a lot of rubbing for the white cream to be absorbed on my skin.

Was looking forward to trying this spf but it smells so bad like gone off milk maybe it’s the sink but it really stink

I do a lot of snorkelling and diving so the fact that this offers great sun protection while being safe to use in the sea is a real benefit. I wear a full wet suit which protects my body from the sun but when you're bobbing around in the sea waiting for boat pick ups or getting your bearings, your face can get very burnt especially with the sun reflecting off the water. It's good there is a high zinc content and my preference is for unscented creams so I'm happy there. This pack is actually a very generous size even though they are described as travel size. At 60ml each - which is bigger than my daily moisturiser at 50ml - I expect each tube to see me through at least a week of applications and with a pack of two I can keep one with my diving kit and one with my toiletries. It's good to see manufacturers considering the health of the reefs.

Like another reviewer said, it smells of sick. Nevertheless, it feels beautiful on my face! I’d buy again.
