These are the best tweezers I've had for my job
As a professional chef, I wanted to get larger tweezers to use when I'm working with larger product. At the restaurant I work at now, my executive chef let's us use an old set of Cattomberg tweezers for working the line. These are the best tweezers I've used so far - sturdy, great tension, good grip (not the all time best but great for working on the line).I've ordered other brands on Amazon and as soon as I touch them & feel how too soft the tension is, I return them right away. Too soft of tension is good for delicate items but I need something that can grip heavier product as i cook them in the saute pan or flat top grill.I love these tweezers so much I bought a 2nd pair. I only wish this company made more in other designs - (like an offset and angled tweezers) and different lengths. I would buy them & recommend them to my friends in the industry.

Nice
Was kinda holding out on buying these, glad I did. They work great and I keep reaching for them for different cooking uses. Nice for reaching in a jar of pickles, flipping bacon or some bread, kinda chop stick like, and wonderful for plating and garnishing.

One of them is harder to close
The onewith the tapered tip is harder to close, the one with the teardrop shape tip is excellent and it compensates because of the set's great price. The first one is a little shorter, nothing to complain there but sadly it's maybe twice as hard to close. It becomes very aparent when using for a prolonged period of time, I tried it turning some zucchini fritters and by the third batch I had to change hands. Now, the looks are great and the craftmanship is ok (I had to callibrate one to make the tips touch when closed). Would buy again.
