Installing new washer is difficult
FYI seating the new washer over the plunger was impossible without the use of a tool. i used a socket head to force it over the top. Getting both hands inside the brew cup is impossible. I suspect the issue with my cup was a weak spring, and not the washer. If you're mechanically challenged, buy the entire replacement brew basket. Once seated, the replacement parts stopped the brew basket leak.

Good replacement part
Hard to insert but when finally in place works great at stopping the drip coffee to get a cup. Saved me the money from having to replace the machine.

I purchased this item to go in my coffee maker. It's the correct item but I haven't put it in yet.It's sitting in ther top portion where the filter sits in. I stopped drinking coffee and use it onlywhen company comes over.
