Q: Can the video segments be set to record *longer* than 5 minutes? If I wanted to record (for example) for 20 minutes in one clip.

get a better memory card. I have trouble with a few different cards that have recommended class 10 - 30/60/90 recording, but the camera didn't like those cards- Used a Samsung Card and no more trouble.
