I got this mat because I wanted something that wasn’t brightly colored to put in our living room. Now, my main purpose wasn’t to protect my kiddo (4yo) because he jumps all over the place all the time. I wanted to get a foam mat to keep my carpet cleaner by having something between my kiddo and the carpet. I don’t find this mat to be terribly thick, it feels thinner than I expected. I also would have liked to have more of the brown pieces as there are a lot of light colored pieces to this mat set up.Sadly, my kiddo figured out how to pull them up pretty quickly so now I have to teach him to leave the mat alone.

I used the 16 interlocking foam tiles in my workout and I now have a cushioned space for me to safely do my exercises. I appreciate that the tiles are made of non-toxic material as I spend a lot of time laying down on the tiles. Knowing that I am exercising on a mat free from harmful chemicals provides me with peace of mind. This puzzle mat looks great and does a great job offering a soft play spot on harder floors. The pieces are cut as they should be so they fit together without issue. They'll stay together pretty well but can be moved with some effort. Pretty durable so far as well.Overall its a solid product. I love how firm and sturdy the foam is! Still perfectly cushioned for falls and its comfy and soft, but its really firm foam that won't indent or fall apart from normal use. It's totally waterproof and could be wiped or even sprayed down to clean. I love that you can set it up to whatever shape you need and that the edges are left open ended so you could attach more than one package together to make it as big as you want! The colors are just like pictured and are really nice and neutral. It looks super classy in my house and isn't an eyesore at all! The texture of it is really great and prevents slips and falls without being too textured to roll cars or other toys on it. Such a great product to give baby a cushioned and clean place to play while you get things done - so much better than laying a blanket on the floor!

These mats are great for little ones, babies through small toddlers. Because they lock into each other, there's no set pattern to follow - you can use 1 or all, and you can cover a wide range of different shaped spaces. The puzzle shaped sides allow you to mix and match sets for larger coverage. These are easy to put together, however same-brand connections will always be closer than trying to match different brands. We have use these pads on the cement basement floor by themselves, under a blanket in the living room for warmer/softer play time, and on the grass outside to buffer from the itchy blades of grass.These pads are very easy to clean, and they dry relatively quickly. This set is slightly (just very slightly) thinner than another set we had, but the function and quality are the same, and the price is slightly better, with more squares per package.
