Glider GLX1 Capo

nice little gadget...
initially a little tight on the guitar so sliding it up and down was very jerky and frustrating. i had to pull it apart so the spring would loosen a little bit. (be VERY careful if you do this as overstretching the springs will completely ruin the capo). somehow, i managed to stretch it just about perfectly so now it slides up and down the guitar neck beautifully. and i will never get tired of playing 'seven black roses' by john martyn ;-)

Excellent
Bought this as a gift for someone learning guitar (hey, no matter how long we have been playing we are all still learning). She wanted to link two songs but capo in different positions. This allows her to make a seamless transition. Her teacher is so impressed, he wants one as well.

Good product
My son already had a static capo, but he wanted a sliding one and I must admit this one is fab. Delivery was good (although unfortunately I was out when it was delivered and I had to make a trip to my local post office parcel depot as it had to be signed for!!)

Must for any working guitar player
Great capo, really cool when doing key changes. Just Glide into position without having to release the capo and pinching it into its new position.

slide capo
Excellent quality, strong & endurableBut very difficult to move with a key transition in a song (as it was wanted for)

Very disappointing
Unfortunately this capo doesn’t run freely up and down the fretboard as expected. It is stiff and the back roller often runs off the neck meaning I have to remove the capo and place it back on the desired fret, defeating the purpose. Would not recommend.

More than a novelty, but good as a novelty
This is great! It went down a hoot at my local folk club and open mic, magically changing key mid-song with a slide of my left thumb stole the show rather. Very pleased.

Disappointing
Doesn’t slide very freely on a Gibson les Paul and when it does it often runs off the fretboard meaning a muted string.
