I have been battling a mole for months now, trying all of the lawn sprays, spreads, tips and tricks I could find to try to get rid of it without killing it. Well, that proved fruitless. After it literally destroyed over half of my lawn, one I have been working to make beautiful for 3 years, I lost it. I realized I had to eliminate the problem permanately, so I bought these traps. It only took 2 days with these traps set to erradicate the problem. They work Great! The only issue I had is with setting them. They dont set as easy as the video made it seem. Maybe its user error or maybe its my dry soil, but when I tried to step on it to set it, the whole thing would just move, I had to set it with my hands and knee to get it to properly sit in the moles track. But that wasnt a big deal to me, just a learning curve. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family.

Would have given five stars, but five grown adults all tried to release the animal as instructions states, too no avail. Didn’t have surgical scalpel, so we tossed the trap with mole stuck in it before the entire neighborhood got up in arms.This trap nabbed the mole in less than 15 minutes after I set it!

I actually really liked this product but as you can see in my photo, pocket gophers dig a few inches below the ground, so the scissors could never possibly reach. Looks like it works great for moles and I can vouch that the idea is great and these are great quality. But, if you’re fighting gophers, save your money. I tried these many times and the gophers always evaded them.

It works. Taken out a few critters with this thing. Never misfires or fails to fire as far as I can tell.

I set that trap at 9:30 AM. On the same day I checked the trap at 12:30 PM and saw that it had been activated. Conclusion: it works. Some folks mentioned the difficulty of releasing the deceased creature. I used two blocks of wood with the necessary height, placed the device on them and stepped on the device which released the creature. I then scooped up the creature in a container and buried it in the woods behind our house.

Maybe these things work for others as reviews state but no luck in my yard. Compared to the traps with spikes, these are very difficult to push into the ground and impossible to set.

Within 1 hour of setting it got one. They work. Got a 2nd same evening. Releasing wasn't bad either. Good quality and solving the problem. Other options like poison I didn't do because I have dogs. I did gas 12 sticks but didn't work. This works.
