I think the headline 'Tasteless' is a mistranslation! It caused great hilarity on showing it to friends. Beautifully presented and with very strong and accurate aromas, the only one I have tried so far was also very positive in taste, so I expect the others to be similar. Impressive.

These are good flavours that work well in baking and for buttercream. Not artificial tasting. A little goes a long way. Recommended.

This food flavouring oil is well made as it is both water and oil soluble due to the use of organic glycols been used with itself acts as an emulsifier. The smell of the oil is well balanced with different types of esters that are itself responsible for the many flavours naturally occurring in the food itself. The bottle is designed with a thin dropper which allows you to apply the oil in small amount. Overall it a good flavouring oil set.

You only need a few drops they are very strong, some are great to make flavoured milk. The translation on the box is a little strange. The lids are a pain to get off too.

You need a lot to get the flavour and even then it is quite subtle. It worked better with just plain icing. Couldn’t really taste it at all in cakes or butter cream.

Good Value set of oil based food flavourings. 14 flavours come in 10ml bottles. Quite concentrated so you don't need to add to many drops. The ones I sampled tasted alright, not too artificial like some do. Brilliant for my cake making hobby as now I can do a much greater variety of flavours. Really good value compared to supermarket flavourings. 5*

Take it from someone who has actually opened the box and tested them. .. they DO have taste unlike another review said.It says on the back of the box they add flavour. The word tasteless is most likely a mis translation as quite often happens when languages are translated via a computer system rather than a human translatorSome contain alcohol so that's worth noting for some peopleThe flavours do add taste to drinks and baking. I baked some small bun cakes and added different flavours to the split mix to test them out. You have to experiment with the amount you need. Some flavours are weaker than others for example... The strawberry needs more drops than the apple because the apple is very strong and so is the coconut. If you put too much in it becomes bitter so go graduallyI also tested them by adding a couple of drops to a dessert spoon of water. All of them have flavour, some more than others. This is how I managed to work out which flavours would need more drops than othersIt's a bit fiddly to start but once you have tested them you know how much to use the next time.So just to re iterate... They do add flavour. You can taste themThey mix well in baking and water but I haven't used them in chocolate making yet so I'll update when I've tried thatSome contain alcoholThere's barely any calories worth mentioning in the amount you would use in baking. And they can be used in drinks also
