They are pretty sturdy compared to most disposable plates. I love these because my kids love to have their food separated and these work great for that. They do soak up a bit of the liquid if there’s a sauce or something slowly over time while you’re eating. I haven’t had the plate fall apart or get bits of it because of it while eating. I just wouldn’t use it too often for something that will have some type of liquid to it. Other than that these are great and we will most likely be buying more when we run out. Currently have more than enough for now.

Don't know yet how well the 'compostable' claim will hold up, but these are nice sturdy paper-based plates. Sturdy enough to stand up to foods with sauces and liquids without leaking or starting to lose their integrity.

I bought this for our regular everyday use. The material is very durable and holds heat perfectly. A very nice size for dinners. We've put salads, gravy, and other liquids on it. It does not get soggy even though the food has been on the plate for a while. Very good material.

If you use paper plates this is a great deal. 150 plates at this price are wonderful, especially considering they are ecofriendly and 100% compostable. 10" wide and nicely hold both hot and cold food with no leaking, seeping though, or noticeable sagging. I would certainly recommend these plates for any use. Good for daily use or your special occasions.

It amazes me how the quality of eco-products continues to improve.These plates are a fine example. They provide the environmental benefit, but are also superior to standard paper plates. They're much more sturdy and solid. It's a win-win.This is a great option for home or events.
