Shur-Line 06100 Gallon Can Paint Pourer

Buy this if you want to get really really annoyed, it's a right pain to fit and once you've knocked the hell out f it to get it to fit it'll pop out all the flipping time. It's something else to clean once you've thrown it as far as you can, it isn't far as it's plastic. A better alternative is to drill holes in the recess of the tins and the paint drains away, I wish I'd seen that first. (on YouTube).

I don't get it, why is US-standard sold in the UK where it doesn't fit anything!? It is too large to fit 2.5l tins and too small to for 5l tins. I've not seen any US gallon tins in the UK!

Bought this because I was doing some staining to my fence. It fit perfectly on these Ready Seal brand 1 gallon cans. I needed it to pour the stain into the cup of my stain/paint sprayer. Snapped right on and off the can. Easy to use. Easy to pour. No stain wasted from pouring. Definitely recommend.

Make sure it’s snapped in good. My paint cans stay clean now. Easy now to close the lids. Great if your using sand can over and over.

I bought the Shur-Line 06100 Gallon Can Paint Pourer, and it cracked immediately when I was inserting it into the can. It still worked for the first use and was relatively easy to clean. However, I noticed that the red plastic started bleeding onto the paper towel when cleaned with paint reducer, which raises concerns about the material’s durability. After just three uses, it completely broke apart at the pouring spout. Overall, the idea is good, but the material quality is very poor and does not hold up to normal use. I would not recommend it.

This might be one of the best inventions EVER! Not a drop is spilled or dribbled down the side of the can. No more paint sitting in the groove where the lid fits. And because of that no more paint shooting out of that groove and getting flung everywhere when your daughter hammers the lid shut before you remember to tell her to cover the cover the can with a rag before you hammer it shut. It’s up there with electricity and the wheel. Maybe even TV.
