I loved this corset! I am 5'8", 150 pounds, with 31" waist and 41" hips.I went by the seller's size chart and bought a L (fits 28.5"-30.5" waist) and it fit so accurately, I was surprised !!!Without corset, my waist is 31". It's a decent, inexpensive spiral-boned corset. The front busk fastener is weak, if it were a little better on this piece alone it would make a big difference. It basically bends inward because of the tensions at the center of the back. While it isn't going to get you 4+ inches in like with a 'true' corset? It is very flattering and does slim and shapes your waist as it should. The material feels fine for the price, and it does do what I personally needed it to do for me so I am happy with it. I can't say it's a 5-star item, but it is worth the just under $40 it cost me. I'll use it til I eventually do kill it trying to force a tight lace haha. All I will add is that it runs smaller than it is listed. Never in my life have I had to buy a 6XL before, I am usually an XL/1XL. I also never buy corsets by S/M/L sizing, either, so I knew the risk. There was just enough cord to make it work but, you might want to order extra paracord for better lacing when you snag one of these if you are a bigger girl. Sad the modesty panel can not be removed but, it folds over fine.

I ordered according to my measurements on their sizing guide and got a large. This corset was way smaller than what the sizing guide. It also lacked the hourglass shape in the photos - it didn't look at all like the picture. It’s much more boxy and flat than hour glass shaped. Construction is definitely NOT 26 spring-steel bones! I have 2 spring-steel corsets and the difference is ridiculous! This is false advertising! Don't waste your time or money!

Let me start out by saying that I know a thing or two about corsets, and own a good number of honest to goodness steel boned corsets, including some that were custom made to fit my figure exactly. So it should go without saying that I was not expecting this corset to live up to that standard. And it doesn't. I did, however, expect just a little bit more from it.The Pros:The corset has a busk front, which is a wonderful when getting dressed.It has a modesty panel in the back, good for covering the skin and preventing the laces from chaffing.It did pass the "magnet test" and the stays are made of some type of metal.It WILL cinch you down into an hourglass shape.The price, even with shipping from China, is very good.The Cons:It runs small. I'm pretty small myself, but ordered a size up because I like the corset to close fully in the back. I cannot close the medium fully in the back, even though I SHOULD be able to, according to the measurement chart provided. Go up at least one size, maybe even two, and be certain take your measurements, and then have someone else take them for accuracy's sake.While the stays are metal (not certain if they're actually steel) they are very, very light weight.Do not expect heavy steel boning with this corset, or to be able to corset down as small or as precisely as a better made, heavier boned corset will allow. If you're interested in the extreme wasp waisted look, pass this one up.The busk front is made from a very thin metal - These feel flimsy, and do not line up and fasten as well or with the same amount of ease as a more expensive, better made corset will.While not made horribly, this is not a corset that will last the test of time. I'll be wearing this corset under period wardrobe for 2 days straight, about once a month, sometimes twice a month - I don't expect it to last me more than 6 months to a year before it will need replacement.Overall, you get what you pay for. It's fine for occasional wear if you have realistic expectations and want minor (2-4 inch) cinching. Be certain to "season" your corset prior to wearing it for an extended period of time to avoid unnecessary discomfort. Wear the corset for 2 hours for several days, then 4 hours, leading up to a full day of wear. This helps mold the corset better to your shape, while breaking it in so it'll be more comfortable to wear for extended periods. I can't say that I'll order this corset again, but I don't hate it enough to return it. It'll do the job under my period costume until I get a better one.

ho seguito la tabella ed alla fine era troppo largo...ho preso una L, avrei dovuto prendere una misura in meno alla tabella...in caso contrario non stringe neanche un pochino sulla taglia...quindi perde il senso della sua esistenza...premetto che la qualità era buona anche se il tessuto era forse troppo poco spesso per essere un bustino
