It is what it is. We do seem to need to replace it about every 6 months. But we use it everyday, often multiple times a day. Would be nice if the wires were slightly stronger, would probably last year's. Or if they had a tiered option. A cheaper one for lighter use, and a more expensive heavy duty one for those who use it a lot.
