Lightweight and feels good quality the plastic leaf grabbers are excellent quality plastic and pick up hedge trimmings much better than i expected very highly recommended

Bought these to replace a basic pair of grabbers that we've used for 10 yrs to collect leaves. They are comfortable to use and the grabbers hold more than the old set did. The handles of the old ones were straight not angled like this set and so could be used from whichever side that you picked them up, however, as we get used to these grabbers this feature may well turn into an ergonomic plus point. My wife would prefer it, if like the old ones, you could hold them closed with a load, using one small hand on the handles above the hinge - enabling adjustment of the collection bag with the other hand - however, this is a very minor issue and overall she is very pleased with them.

I don't often write reviews for Amazon purchases but this is one buy that I feel comfortable to rave about. I wouldn't say that clearing leaves has become a pleasurable job but it is certainly more straightforward and less back breaking with these grabbers. I only wish that I bought them last year before I forked out on a leaf vacuum. That worked but was a real faff to get emptied. These grab a large quantity of leaves and can be held with one hand whilst getting the bag to stay open.

Ordered 2 pairs of these at the same time, one came as bent shaft and seem well built, the other with straight handles and seem a little flimsy, they will get a good work out this week and I will update the review then!Order was also delayed!

Fantastic tool. Used it before for many years and lend it to a friend and broke it up. It's sturdy, light weight good design and saves you a bad back. No need to bend down with this tool. Highly recommended.

Best thing since the invention of the wheel 👍picks up more leafs than you could pick up by hand, clears a pile of leafs in minutes, and no bending, and fills a bag with ease.

We have owned a Bosmere leaf grabber for more than 10 years, amazing product. We needed to replace it and the shoddy product that arrived was shocking, This can't be the same owners as before. The assembly and build quality was appalling. The hole for the bolts were in the wrong place and you couldn't stand it up. It wasn't flush to the ground and rocked back and forth, a lot. Also it arrived with a cracked panel. I don't know what was more disappointing, the poor workmanship, the fact that it had been allowed to be dispatched in this condition or that the most useful tool in our garden couldn't be replaced. Shame on you.

Had a similar type which was purchased years ago. This is a great improvement over the one I have.

I bought my first Bosmere N450 Long Handle Steel Leaf Grab by accident. I needed something with long handles to help me pick up leaves from my 200 year old oak tree in the front yard and the dozens of oak trees surrounding my back yard. I have had many back surgeries and I am old and I needed help. Well, not only did it help me but my young neighbor borrowed it and he loved it and then his neighbor borrowed my Bosmere from him and it kept going around the neighborhood. I could not find a source to purchase another until I went to Amazon and described it and they quickly identified that they had it. I bought not one, not two, but three, and promptly gave them away to my neighbors. Now I have the use of the one that I bought in the beginning and my neighbors have their own. I will definitely add this to my favorites online because I know others will be hitting me up to use Bosmere N450 Long Handle Steel Leaf grab because it can pick up a huge pile of leaves with one big gulp! It can empty it out into a container and grab a second gulp without causing muscle strain or tireness of weak old arms. And the children love to use it as a "GRABBER MONSTER" eating the leaves...GULP! An innovative and excellent tool, which makes leaf clean-up much easier.

This is the second fall we have been through since purchasing this item and I am so thankful for it. Its kind of an awkward motion that you have to adjust to, but oh my word does it take away the dreaded part of fall clean up - gathering the leaves into the bags. It grabs so much at a time and does it cleanly too! I can use it directly on my driveway and it will grab every single leaf in the pile. Use it on the grass and it tries to grab the grass too! I sometimes feel like I've missed something or done something wrong, bc clean-up goes so quickly now. I think my favorite part is that I never have to get on my hands and knees to shove leaves into a bag anymore. When and if this tool dies, I will definitely buy another. It's pricey, especially for what it really is (and I think that its sad that the seller seems to gouge) but I would still buy another.
