Q: Why no black. Or white pencils?

I do like the vibrancy & how the pencils lay down but there is not a black or white pencil in any of these sets. There is a light gray in one of the packs but it’s a big mistake in my opinion not to include a white or black; I always have to use these with another pencil set, that has a white & a black. I especially use white a lot.

Q: How soft are these? Are these more similar to wax or oil? (just ordered and I'm curious)

The softness level is medium and imo kind of creamy and they are wax based. They are decent budget colored pencils and colors are nice.
