I really don't write reviews but this is very useful addition to my Door, it is a reliable and functional product that delivers on its promises. Its smooth closing mechanism, durability, and safety features make it a worthy investment for anyone looking to improve their door's functionality. I highly recommend this door closer for both residential and commercial use.

This seems to be a quality product that works well on a large, solid wood door. The frustration is the lack of adequate instruction for installation. The instructions include a door template (very useful) but the actual installation procedure is outlined in three small illustrations with no text. When nearing completion, the two parts of the swing arm appeared to be too short to connect. After much irritation, it appears that you need to crank and hold the spring and swing arm out of parallel alignment with the door while you attach the pieces of the swing arm. This is contrary to the image in the instructions. Works great now, but a YouTube video would have been very helpful.

Works great. As advertised. Delivered quickly. I was not sure how I would install but It was easy to install with lifestyle installation template and detailed instructions!

Instruction are very Miss leading !! The template would be helpful if they told you how to install from door swing inwards. Pictures on website show this configuration but the template is only for installing where door swing out wards. The template indicating where door jam is 100% incorrect. As you can see from my video I had to install it 3 times at different locations to get it to works. And then all the tension directions are backwards if you install the way I did. I now have to patch all the holes on my door. Also The top plate mount holes are recessed only on one side having on both side would be nice. Decent product for price just installed it let’s see how it holds up

Instructions were simple to follow. Came with a template that was correct to scale. I just taped the template to the door and frame, center punched the fastener locations and drilled 6 holes. Install was pretty simple.Just what I was looking for no more slamming doors in this house.

- Instructions are impossible to interpret, I had to find an installation video online.- Matte Black finish scratches off very easily and flakes everywhere.- I loosened one of the adjustment screws and grease started pouring out of the inside of the mechanism.I’m stunned that anyone has had a good experience with this door closer.

It was easy to install myself. A nice DIY project to install it myself for the garage door this weekend. It came with all necessary installation hardware and life size template.
