Incredible Vacuum
Hands down this is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned regardless of style corded or cordless.I have owned various Dyson and Shark models in recent years and many vacuums for the past 30 years and this one not only my new favorite but the best one all time.Pros:Very little maintenance- this is a big deal as most vacuums require time spent removing the roller and fighting all of the hair and anything else that has wound onto the roller. A lot of vacuums claim to have a design that prevents tangles but the Tineco has one that actually works. Every time I look at it I am amazed there is nothing, I mean nothing to clean off the roller.Design- The vacuum tube has nothing to cause snags. What I mean by this is when you look down the tube that connects the roller to the motor it is just an empty round tube with no bumps or narrowing. Some Shark models have obstructions used to store wiring components that narrow the tube diameter at one end which causes a ton of clogging. That is a major Shark design flaw which has frustrated me many times as the whole tube would be filling with dirt. The plunger to remove the dirt is awesome. No more digging your hand in to clean out the bin. Just plunge and go. I will never bust another vacuum without this feature. The auto speed control is ingenious. The machine can sense more dirt being collected and increases power until the dirt collection returns to normal levels. The display is also nice as you can visually see it increase speed going from blue to red gradients when more power is needed. Just amazing! The charging station- well designed to hold the extra tools and will charge both the battery in the vacuum and the one plugged directly into the base. I highly recommend the two battery version. More to come on that point. Most importantly it cleans the floors well. I have a big carpeted area on our lower level and the remaining house is hardwood floors with areas rugs. There are no roller changes. Just vacuum and most everything gets picked up and very clean.Cons:In the auto mode the regular suction is not as strong as some other vacuums. This is good and bad. One this saves on battery life, but at the expense of picking up stuff. I would say that I need to rollover the area sometimes more that I would with other vacuums to get everything clean. It is not the best at picking up big items or heavy particles. For example it struggled with popcorn kernels and just ok with Cheerios. Weirdly it was good at picking up pine needles from our Christmas tree.. I had other vacuums fail at this before, mostly getting clogged in the tube. If you turn off auto you can vacuum at the high speed all of the time but that will wear down the battery life quickly. The price is high but you are paying for a high quality product I personally think is just better than Dyson. In summary this vacuum will clean all of your floors well, super ease to maintain and clean, and the features like the snag free roller, plunge dirt removal, auto speed are incredible. If you have a small apartment then you could get the one battery version, but I highly recommend the two battery version with the storing station. I have a 2800 sq ft home and I need both batteries to finish the job with little to charge spare. This vacuum is a joy to use and I high recommend making this your go to vac.

Works really well
Over a year ago, we got 2 Neato Robotics Bot Vacs for our house. We love the little fellas and they do a great job but, they (and all robot vacs) have one major flaw, they can't do stairs. This means that we have been lugging our big Dyson up and down the stairs to vacuum them which also mean that they have not been getting vacuumed nearly enough. Also, we recently got a puppy and now there are more messes that require a vacuum and sometimes a full sized vacuum is just overkill. That's where a stick vacuum shines. We started looking at stick vacs strictly to clean the steps more often but soon realized that there are plenty of times when we need a vacuum just for a small mess. We looked at several different brands and had narrowed it down to one of the Dysons. What swayed me over to the Tineco was all of the features. This thing comes with a ton of attachments! Crevice attachments, extension wands, extra HEPA filter and battery, upholstery brush (powered!), and, best of all, a hard surface attachment. Dyson doesn't include the hard floor attachment and it's over $100.Suction- While not as strong as a full sized vacuum, this thing has plenty of suck. Also, it has a feature where it will automatically adjust the suction strength based on how much debris it is sucking up. This is great for conserving battery life and run timeManeuverability- Very agile and not hard to move around at all. The heads swivel easily and it’s pretty easy to get under things as long as they are not too low to the ground.Battery life- I can't really address this one in real world use as I've only used it for a few minutes at a time (maybe 15 min max at once). It was only down to about 84% charge after that use though.Ease of changing tools/heads- This is very easy, there is a button that you push and the tool just slips off. Putting on the new tool give a nice click when seated.Emptying the dust canister- While not hard, I did actually have to look at the manual to figure this one out. There is a button near the power switch that you push and then the dust canister lifts off. To empty it just push the button and the canister pops open. If there is a lot of debris in the upper part of the canister all you have to do is give a twist and the filter will come out allowing you to get all of the trash out.Connectivity- Yep, this thing has an app. I haven't downloaded it so I can’t address this but, it's there if you need it. Honestly, I'm not sure exactly why you need an app for a vacuum but hey, my shower has an app so maybe this is just another small piece of the coming Skynet puzzle. Hail to our robot overlords!Durability- I was really nervous about spending this much money on a brand I've never heard of but, this thing seems to be really well made. The packaging was excellent and nothing about this device feels or seems cheap. If it falls apart, I will update my review but, so far, I love this thing.

I own 9 vacuums cleaners and this is the best!
I purchased my Tineco S12 Plus at Christmas 2019 as a present to myself. I'm a gadget nerd and a clean freak. I have a pretty big home and my home has never been so clean. I love all the extra tools that came with the S12 Plus. I use all of them. I looked at every review I could find and the EXCELLENT HEPA filter was a big deal to me. Every test showed that there is essentially no dust coming out of the filter. The quality build is really good and the trigger lock is something I use every time I vacuum. It's a BIG deal! The auto suction works well and it's nice to be able to adjust the motor speed with the infinite finger slide. It's really nice to have the two batteries although I seldom need the second battery. It's just nice to know I have it (every so often I swap batteries so they both get used). I also like that it comes with two (2) pre-filters. I have a powerful plug in canister vacuum and I use it to quickly clean the pre-filter. I use an EGO electric leaf blower to clean the rest of the dust bin and it's parts. I use NO water. I can clean EVERYTHING and be back vacuuming in 10 minutes. I will mention that the unit I received on Christmas eve malfunctioned after a few days. I contacted Tineco customer service and they were great. They sent me a brand new motor head and a return shipping label so I could send the bad unit back to them. I have been using this replacement for about two months now and it performs perfectly. I use it all the time. I had looked at buying the Dyson V-11 but after using this S12 Plus for about two months now, I am glad I purchased this unit instead of the Dyson. This Tineco is a better value. I don't own a smart phone so I don't have a need to connect my phone to my vacuum. Actually, I think that's a really dumb idea. Everything you need is displayed right on the vacuum head. I currently own nine (9) vacuum cleaners and have owned vacuums for about 50+ years.OK....I've now owned my Tineco for almost 2 years. I love it as much today as when I wrote the above review. I use it several times a week. I use it a lot because it is so easy and convenient to use. My home is really clean all the time. Tineco's customer service is great. Last week one of the small hinge attachments broke on the dust bin. It's plastic. I called Tineco customer service and had a representative on the line in a couple of minutes. I explained my situation. They asked me to send them a photo of the broken hinge. I sent it about an hour later. Within 24 hours, I received a notice that a new dust collector was on it's way to me. I couldn't ask for better service. Thanks Tineco. Sure glad I purchased a Tineco with all the great attachments. Lets see you dust your home, your computer and TV screens with a Dyson!!!!!! 2/04/2023.... I've now had my Tineco for 38 months. I still love it just as much. I just used it a few minutes ago. Thanks Tineco for a really wonderful product!

Very impressed
I was extremely skeptical. Had reviewed dozens of stick vacuum reviews and ratings before pulling the trigger on the Tineco Pure ONE S12 Plus. I have to say I am thoroughly pleased from the design, to the build quality, section and most importantly ACTUAL cleaning ability. It's important to realize what this device is. A cordless STICK vacuum so it should be only compared to other cordless stick vacuums. Of course there are other corded vacuums that probably do a better job but they are corded, heavy and much bigger. That said, this blows away my corded vacuum cleaner but it's not because it's more powerful. Let me explain.A lot of the reviews on vacuums are from people who turn it on and feel how strong the suction is or isnt. I've learned through the hours of research i did prior to purchasing this vacuum that suction power does not equal cleaning capability. You heard that right. There are MANY factors that go into how well a vacuum will clean. From brush head design to the *type* of suction and airflow to the size of the piping. The important performance indicator for a vacuum is how well it cleans. Period. That said I was amazed at...- How quiet this unit was- How well the auto function worked; you can hear the vacuum increase in power and decrease as you go over tougher spots- How well it cleaned- How well it felt in the hand. Feels premium through and through- It cleaned VERY efficiently. Picked up things in a carpet that my corded left behind- Has a ton of attachments- How long the battery lasted in auto mode (I got a solid 30min of cleaning)When compared to the Dyson D11, this vacuum is better bang for the buck. You wont feel cheated on how premium it feels and performs over a more well known brand like Dyson. Actually, I would say this unit had the leg up on attachments AND intelligence.

This is a $200 vacuum MAX!! Junk!!!
I was hoping for the best vacuum I have ever had with this! All the positive reviews praised this vacuum! All I can say is DO NOT READ any other review on this... They know not what a vacuum should do!!!1st, we had many cordless vacuums over the past 5+ years, only Dysons have lived up to the hype and they have their issues!!! Dyson v6, V8, V10, V11, a few sharks. We also have a tineco wet/dry S3 that we like BUT this S12 is only worth $200 MAX!!!!PROS....- Lightweight- Light on the end of the heads- Easy to dump- Easy to disassemble and clean- comes with all the attachments and soft head- 2nd Battery charger built into BaseCONS- Cheaply made (more flimsy plastic) compared to Dyson vacs- Does NOT have the power to suck up compared to Dyson- Suction dies down below 80% on max (because max is the only option to get this vac to actually suck things properly)!!- Should have never been released to the public!!!!!!!!When we clean our bed, we vacuum up the mattress and we always get some white lint from the sheets with the Dyson, this one could not get anything AT ALL from the mattress, we used the Dyson V11 after and low and behold the white lint BUT not from this!! ON MAX YET!Now my wife is telling me about suction problems and I did not initially believe her DUE to all the CRAP Positive reviews on here and anywhere on this vacuum, to I started to use it, and I noticed it was not that loud as usual, battery was down 50% left, so I plugged in the 2nd fully charged battery and BAM , I could hear the motor more and suction was the best this could do (BUT nowhere near the Dyson), then down to below 80% and the motor slowed down again, this is something all of our Dyson have NEVER EVER done!!I packed up this overpriced, garbage vac and sent it back to Amazon!!!!In auto mode, is like you using a crappy dust buster trying to pick up dirt.We use all our cordless vacs on MAX, why because that is actually the only mode that sucks up everything !! if you don't care about sucking up every spec, then just buy a $100 cordless vac, Ill save your hundreds!!that's my rant, OH one more thing.... I also tried to remove the filter (the one that blows the air out (NOT the suction one, that one was brand new we only had this for 2 days max) and still no where near the suction as the Dyson .If this was $200 for the 12s EX then my review would be totally different BUT $700 and ($530 on sale) GARBAGE !!
