Truth In Advertising
There is, in fact, a death ray featured in this book. No lie.If you enjoyed the first book in this series, the sequel picks up right where the first left off, and everything I liked about the original still holds true here: Brisk pacing, a fun protagonist, good action (both standard and bedroom), meaty worldbuilding, and a good hook for the next book.Bonus points to the author for including several classic superhero memes hidden in the text, too.

It's so good to be bad
Victor and crew are back, Lovely villainess's, monsters, heroines, it's just a run of the mill day.Loved the growth for dolly and psyhren in this.Definitely a good follow up for super slice of life meets some action.

Of science and singing
Taking on sidekicks has its pleasures, but there’s always another side to the coin when you’re a villain. Sometimes, often, pretty much always, those sidekicks have their own backstory, nemeses who you have to face to keep those sweet sidekicks safe. And so it is with Victor. He can’t complain though, not when the sidekicks are as sweet as his.

Fantastic follow up
Overall this book was very well written and enjoyable. Only a few editorial mistakes. I actually enjoyed this one more than the first, surprisingly. We get some solid character development, especially for side characters not focal in the first book. The pop references and Super trope insights were also fantastic!I'll definitely be picking up the next book when it's available.

A solid next chapter
Not too much to say. There were predictable parts, but that's kind of the point. The setting is essentially one filled with classic tropes, to which one would almost be disappointed if they didn't use them. The smut was good, not the best but solid and having a good enough bit of spice so that having it was still a good choice.I like especially each book has things involving the ladies' past. They all have their quirks and are slowly bit surely getting fleshed out as actual characters, which is always super important. Can't wait for the next installment

Humor and references to SciFi, Supers and other movies
This series has a likeable, smart, down-to-earth main character, humor and references to the SciFi, Supers, Mutants and Fantasy movies we saw (and possibly liked). And compared to other works the adult parts are more spaced out - so, more storyline for the reader!
