Kenmore 00840706 12-Cup Programmable Aroma Control Coffee Maker, 6.34, Stainless Steel

Two things to know about this coffee maker. One, it makes hot coffee unlike some that are practically like warm. Two, the finished brew alert goes off about five minutes before it’s done. Except for that I really like it.

This is the second time I have bought this same coffee maker. I had the first one ten years!! I was so excited to find that they still made the exact same one after all of these year!! Hopefully they still make it ten years from now.

Simple to use and easy to clean. Makes good coffee right away; you don't have to "break it in". The carafe has a no drip spout which is a good feature so you don't have to clean up drips from your counters.

Easy to use and set up. Timer works great for setting up at night for morning coffee when you get up. I have owned several of these and they last about 3 years before they fail / break

I have been using this coffee maker since January 2019. My coffee still comes out hot and tastes very good today. As opposed to more costly brands I have used in the past, the Kenmore coffee maker meets my daily needs.

This pot makes good coffee but the gray rim surrounding the pot is on the inside too and prevents you from pouring all the coffee out the pot (it acts as a lip) Also, when the coffee is done brewing it beeps very loudly and you can’t turn this feature off. Also, the part where you pour the water in and where you put the coffee grounds in opens upwards so you have to pull it out from under the cabinets on the counter to fill it. I like everything else about this pot and it makes great coffee.

Ok, I'm updating the review below and taking off another star. My coffee maker seems to be having electrical issues now, I've been using it for about 8 months. It randomly started trying to make coffee in the middle of the night one day (I had not used the "auto" setting). Also it seems to be taking longer to make the coffee and it's steaming up the inside of the time display window. It has also started making a loud click sometimes while it's brewing. I don't expect it to last much longer.I got this coffee maker because of how simple and sleek it looks. The looks didn't disappoint and it's simple to use and makes decent coffee. The problem is that when the cycle ends it makes an incredibly loud and irritating 3 beeps to let you know the coffee is ready, and thereby jolting you out of any sense of peace you may have had that morning. I have read the owners manual and can't seem to find anyway to turn the beep off, and as it seems that the speaker is behind the buttons you need to use, I also can't cover it up to dampen the sound. This is a seriously irritating flaw in an otherwise lovely coffee maker for it's price point.

This is a great coffee maker, the only thing I dislike about it is the beeping it makes when coffee finishes brewing and when you set auto on, if they were to make it again I would highly suggest a toggle for the sound or remove it altogether.

I love how well it works. It's quite quick and doesn't take alot of coffee to get good flavor. I like the reusable cone filter. I would prefer a coffee maker with a removable tank where you can take it to the sink fill it, take it back to the machine and click it in. I use it under a cupboard on my counter and find it a bit on the large/ tall side. It does however work very well and I'm happy with the value.

The coffee pot was easy to get ready for use and works a described.

This appears to be one the few machines left that uses a cone filter, which I prefer, rather than the basket.
