Purchased this camera to take on a cruise this summer. So far we’ve been using it around the house and my 4 year old daughter has been taking lots of pictures and videos. The buttons are a little hard for her to push like the shutter and the button to switch from back screen to front, but she uses the remote that came with the camera that acts as a shutter with no issues!

This is a solid camera, with tons of ways to attach it to almost anything. The camera takes outdoor and underwater videos that are excitingly good. Can you find better , maybe a slight bit. For the tiny difference put the money in your pocket and take more trips.

4k looks more like 720p. Quality seems fine and it comes with a case for protection and some things on the side (was on sale so same as without a package) that might be useful. Didn’t like how on both the mounts that have double sided tape are flat as most helmets are not a “flat smooth” type of surface. Should be good for the money, didn’t realize how easy it was to use as you can just click on the screen. Got this instead of the DJI 4 but will mostly get the camera in about a year. Haven’t heard the sound but if possible I’ll get an external mic for it and yes it’ll work with it. Another good thing is that it comes with two batteries and has a charger as a one for both, this should help incase one dies for longer rides. It does come with a SD card that is 64 gigs but I bought a 256gb that should be able to record for about 8 hours at that supposed “4k”.I’ll try and record once I get my bike and put it into the review.

Great little camera that's easy to use. No complaints. So far I've tied it to a kite and ran it up in the sky to see how it would do and his went off without a hitch. I'd buy it again. I'll update this review if it ends up failing me.

Excellent for trail riding and it has great clarity of video and audio !!! No need to buy the other MORE expensive cameras .. will 😁 tly buy a second one for additional recording

Great video and stability the remote is awesome to have

I found this camera a great economical option for doing chassis / undercarriage perspective videos while attached to moving vehicles. When combined with a magnetic mount option, and the Akaso iPhone app, you can preview the view from within the app live, and then activate record remotely only for the footage/views you want to capture. It's small, water resistant, and rugged enough to handle this role even in rain or snow conditions. The remote view in the app requires connecting to the camera over it's built-in WiFi, which will deplete the battery energy at a faster rate.

For an inexpensive action camera this is a good option. However, the video quality in low light leaves a lot to be desired. Normal lighting situations give a decent picture, and the camera is easy to use. It is about the same size as a DJI Action or a GoPro.
