Some people are familiar with the Teletubbies by reputation, others by repetition. The latter group will know that a "funny day" means the lovable British imports are in for splattering Tubby custard and flying Tubby toast, all of which is left to everyone's favorite wet-dry vacuum, the Noo-noo, to tidy up. In fact, the theme of this video, the fifth in the series, is messes (parents might cringe at the two live sequences, especially one involving hand-foot-body painting). The Teletubbies have taken more than their share of criticism for their otherworldly appearance, their simplistic actions and language, and their mind-numbing repetition. There is, however, no question that children adore these creatures and interact with and learn from them. Teletubbies might even be the first television program your child responds to. Unlike some children's TV available on video, each Teletubbies video is not merely two half-hour episodes tossed onto a videotape, but a one-hour unified whole. (Also, the live sequences are not repeated, which will make parents very grateful.) As a result, the videos have a different feel from the episodes, but the drawback is that it's harder to convince a child that a half-hour of TV really is enough when Laa-Laa hasn't yet said bye-bye. Funny Day also offers unusually close camera shots--want to see what Tubby custard really looks like?--and just wait till you see the Noo-noo tidy up the beds. Teletubbies
This is a wonderful, fun DVD. I bought it for my granddaughter (because she loves Teletubbies), and put it in her Easter Basket. She and I watched it and enjoyed it. Not only is this a wonderful DVD, but it is well-worth the money, because there are different episodes on this one DVD. If you or your child loves Teletubbies, then I would highly recommend this product.

My lil 7 month old loves TUBBIES! She could do without the human sections, but I will plan to buy more videos if it give me 15-20 min of clean up time. It was fast delivery and great conidition of the DVD.

Loved by my twin 1 year old granddaughters. We had to play it over and over for them each day. I would recommend this tape to others.

item should not have been listed if it was not in stock. It took almost 3 weeks to notify me it was out of stock. Do not recommend this seller.

Mein Kind lacht sich scheckig :)
Mein Sohn hat die VHS zu Weihnachten bekommen und natürlich gleich kucken dürfen - mittlerweile kennt er sie schon auswendig :) Er findet es jedes Mal aufs Neue lustig. Faszinierend. Die Vhs ist innerhalb von ein paar Tagen ein absoluter Klassiker bei uns geworden. Die Teletubbies verstecken sich mehrmals, die "Geschichten zwischendurch" handeln ebenfalls vom Verstecken (Kinder verstecken sich, Kinder finden versteckte Eier, ...). 7 oder 8 Geschichten sind es insgesamt - Spieldauer ~58min. Die Kassette gehört mit "Tanz mit den Teletubbies" zu den absoluten Favoriten meines Sohnes. Er hat zwar auch noch ein paar andere VHS von ihnen bekommen, aber er sucht sich entweder Tanz oder Verstecken aus. Also wie gesagt ein absoluter Klassiker bei dem mein Sohn wie von selbst spielend neue Wörter und Sätze lernt.

Teletubbies
I purchase these DVDs for my granddaughter in Germany, she is 18 months but thoroughly enjoys the Teletubbies I can only relay what my son & daughter-in-law tells me but you can be assured that she really enjoys them. When they were across at Easter time my grandduaghter watch them on You Tube and just sat mesmerised so i had to buy them here and send to my son in Germany as Amazon.de doesn't sell English version. En anglais - Très bien
Je l'ai acheté en anglais pour mon bébé qui se régale. ça marche bien. Par contre, à la livraison, le plastique circulaire qui retient le CD de par son centre était cassé (à l'intérieur même du boitier, ce qui veut dire que cela n'a pas été un choc pendant la livraison mais bien quelqu'un qui l'a cassé en mettant le CD dedans).

Baby must-have!
Got this for my baby as can't seem to find it on telly anymore. Both my other two loved this program from a really young age so I wasn't going to let the new little one miss out! From about 6 months babies just seem enthralled with the voices and colours so its handy if you need a few minutes peace!
