Beautiful compliment to Lego set
I purchased the Lego Up house. The lighting kit is perfect in the house. Unfortunately it was a little complicated to put together, so my five-year-old grandson needed help from his dad. my son doesn’t want to allow my grandson to take it apart. I suppose we’ll need to buy another Lego set.

Read the description carefully
My daughter got this thinking it was the Lego set she would be building. She didn't see if was only for the lights to illuminate the set and was very disappointed. She tried using the lights on another Lego set, but they didn't work the best.

Used in another set
This light kit has a several different features and I actually repurposed it for using in the UCS Razor Crest. I put the multi-color flashing balloon lights around the cockpit and used the other various lights to make the fish eggs glow and also light different rooms/compartments. Was a little fiddly to put together and would like slightly longer cables but this isn't supposed to be used for such a large set.Skipped the battery pack and I'm using a rechargeble USB pack.

Great lights
The lights added something special to the UP Lego set.

Difficult to install action module failed
It took several hours to install. The light tests passed but the acton control module apparently does not work. The lights remainded dark. I removed it and connected the batter direcly to the the expansion board. How does the action control work? There are no instructions for it.

Great lighting kit!
I don't have this exact lego set, but I love brick lighting and have many sets that need lighting. This kit is versatile enough that I can use the components for DIY lighting of my other sets. These have thin but secure wires, and the lights are nice and bright. They adhere nicely and stay put. If you haven't tried any lighting kits yet, I wholeheartedly say, "Go For It!" It takes your great looking models to the next level and then some!

Looks great!
This Upgraded Light Kit for Lego Disney and Pixar 'Up' House looks great! I was having some difficulties installing it so my son did it with no issues. Love it!

Adds that little extra touch.
First off, take your time and be careful when installing the light kit. There is no paper instructions for the light kit. You have to access them online, but pretty straight forward. Does take patience and time. Some effort required. When it is all hooked up and works and you light it up, it brings a smile!
