I sell vinyl decals for mailboxes. I had a customer ask if I could do a reflective vinyl. I found this vinyl and figured I'd give it a shot. I originally thought the vinyl was extremely hard to work with until I figured out I just wasn't using enough cutting pressure. I don't use a Cricut or common crafting machine, it's more of an industrial one... so there aren't any certain settings I can recommend because it depends on my blade and blade depth. But my settings were at 140 pressure for glossy Oracal 651 vinyl, and my slightly thinner Green Star vinyls were using 130. I had to turn my pressure up to 200 for this reflective vinyl to weed well.The vinyl & backing doesn't feel thicker really, which is what originally threw me off.Clear TransferRite high tack transfer tape worked best for me - I originally tried the medium tack that I use for Oracal 651, but it didn't want to pull the decal off the backing paper.My original customer that requested it reported back that installation was actually easier than past standard vinyl decals he had done, and said it looks great. I've now created reflective mailbox decals for several customers now. Hoping the vinyl holds up through various weather.I'll likely have to buy some more soon!

This vinyl worked so well! Made party favor glow in the dark cups. I would highly recommend this and will be purchasing again!

This vinyl reflects white very well and is a nice light grey.The only reason for the 4-star rating is the texture of this vinyl tends to collect a lot of dirt due to the texture of it.It is a little harder to cut with the vinyl cutter, but manageable.

Unfortunately it's just gun metal gray, zero illumination while light is applied. Nothing like the advertisement, I'll be returning.

Adhesion color and value for money

I got this for a client looking for a glow in the dark decal. It cut well but was really tough to weed and it didn’t take well to any transfer tape I used. However if you have some patience you can get it to work. I would buy this again but only for personal use. It’s too iffy to send out as a finished decal.

So easy to weed, cuts lovely and the Matt black has a great backing. The photo is with cut still in backing, pending arrival of some acrylic sheets to make window decs for Father’s Day

Easy to cut and weed. I bought it specifically to go on a race bike for a 24hr race, so it needed to glow, stand out and stand up to weather. It did all of it. Even survived a crash haha.Cut using a cricut 3xplore, easy to weed and adhered to standard transfer tape. Easy to apply to bike and didn't leave air bubbles.

I liked this, although I thought it was black so was surprised when it was light green. So far hasn't been bright even after being exposed to light for 20 mins. Hoping once on walls & gets more exposure it will be brighter
