Easy To Work With
I wire wrap and weave daily for my specialty shop, I have no complaints with the silver wire and I purchase all gauges. For me, it is easy to work with and looks wonderful on the finished piece. I have bought from nearly every online shop, but keep coming back to this specific one.

Not Gold, It's Yellow
I knew right away that this wasn't going to be suitable for my jewelry making. I have photographed it, in the spool, against my gold tone Beadalon wire. It doesn't match any of my gold tone findings (ear wires, jump rings, gold tone metal beads). The label says "Gold", but it looks more yellow to me. I didn't want to cut any as I am going to see if it's worth sending back. I can't really rate any of it's features as I haven't used any.

As Described & Easy to Work With
26 gauge / Silver—More of a Sterling silver finish—retaining its shine even after working with it for quite some time.Perfect for Wire Weaving & Wrapping Stones. Allows enough mendability for creativity & intricate designes while still maintaining its integrity.

Color flakes off easily and is NOT gunmetal...
My primary complaint is that the description of the color uses two different shades - black and gunmetal, I believe; I mistakenly thought that the photo looked more gunmetal than black.Of course, I was wrong. However, since I didn't have a spool of black and in that gauge, I decided to keep it. I stored it with my other wire, for a couple of weeks, and tried using for a project. The color is EASILY scratched off, regardless of the care I took when handling it.I really expected more of Benecreat, having purchased many items over time.

defective!!!
This is not gun metal, it is black, and it is horrible! I normally love your wire but for some reason this one in particular store it’s flaking as soon as I started using it. I have had problems with it twice and will have to refrain from ordering this color from now on. I needed a project done ASAP and as soon as I went to use it again it started flaking once again... It’s defective. I have ordered the silver and the copper wires and love them. Why this one in particular is defective and horrible to work with I would like to know the reason.

Perfect
Great! Used it to make these geometric centerpiece for my brothers future wedding.. the wire was sturdy enough to hold it all together. Great buy.

Good Value for Tarnish-Resistant 26g Wire
I have a lot of 26 gauge wire -- sterling, copper, artistic, etc. I do a lot of wire demonstrations, and I had been using Parawire Tarnish-Resistant wire (which is very good quality) -- but Parawire can get a bit expensive. I wanted to see if I could find a more cost-efficient wire for my demos. So far I have been favorably impressed with the Benecreat wire. It's not snagging or twisting any more than the wires I usually use. It's not flaked off with all the manipulations I do to the wire. While only time will tell regarding the anti-tarnish, at this point I am very happy with my purchase.

Frustrating to work with
Not as easy to work with as a lot of other wire wrapping wire - even from the same brand. That said, I haven’t found a better black/gunmetal wire so this is also the best I’ve found and I will keep using it because of that. Just frustrating to work with.

Beautiful Soft Silver Wire
I am new to wire wrapping so decided to try this 24 gauge silver wire. It is beautiful and soft. Easy to work with. I think I will need some thicker gauge to do some of the things I want to do. In the photo I did a simple earring. I got frustrated using headpins that were too hard and would some times break. This wire takes care of all of this. Looking forward to doing more elaborate gemstone pendant wraps. This wire is beautiful and should accent it perfectly.

This is *NOT* conductive copper
I ordered this wire because I thought it was "26-Gauge Tarnish Resistant Copper Wire". I needed bare copper wire for something I was building. Imagine my surprise when "copper" didn't conduct any electricity. I don't know if there is *any* copper in this wire, but even after I scraped the surface layer of the wire off, it was not conductive. So this may be fine if you want a pretty faux-copper wire, but if you actually need copper wire that behaves like copper, look elsewhere.

Colour Chips off Wire
I am trying to make French Beaded Pine Cones and the wire might tarnish resistant but that's only if the colour stays on the wire as the colour keep chipping off the wire so it's terrible. I don't know if other colours of this brand does the same thing but this one chips and I don't recommend. The seller was however quick to ship and the package was intact.

Yellow and very soft
The wire is actually yellow, not gold. I have included an image of the wire next to a solid gold ring for colour reference. If you are looking for a yellow wire then this should be fine.I also would not recommend this wire if you are planning on making wire ring jewelry as is it very soft, and your rings will not hold their shape at all. This wire would be great for beginners though as it is very easy to bend and shape.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
I absolutely hate this wire. I gave a 1 because I couldn't give a 0 star.I expected the wire to be a gorgeous yellow gold colour. But it turns out to look like cheap yellow wire. Not gold. The wire is softer than expected and the colour scraped off. It is NOT permanently coloured. With the littlest pressure on the wires it dents and the colour scrapes off.I was not expecting to get this kind of product with this much amount of money. IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY.If I say again the colour is WAY off. The colour is just shiny yellow not gold.I would recommend to get something more expensive that is actually worth the money.
