Nice nesting pads
The idea of these nesting pads is to attract the chickens, and to provide a soft surface for the egg to land on. Also, the ridges on the pad keep the egg from rolling out of the nesting box and breaking. I tested this with an egg and it does keep it secure Hopefully the chickens will use them. It was easy to cut them to fit our makeshift milk carton nesting boxes.

12β x 12β Orange chicken Nest Pad
I really like the material used for these pads. The shape of these pads is good. They are light weight and easily cleaned. They will fit in a 12 x 12β standard nesting box and can be cut down if needed. But the drawback is they can easily be lifted out of the box or damaged when a hen scratches around. I use them to insulate under the straw and prevent breakage if my eggs while layed. The eggs donβt roll easy with these. They are a heat retaining foam great for winter use. They have holes to prevent moisture build up and ventilation. Iβm not fond of the color. But for the price and the fact I have less egg breakage in the nest Iβm happy.

My birds like artificial grass pads or hay better
My birds do not seem to like these. They will lay eggs in hay, wood shavings and artificial grass but will not lay on these. Thought it might be that they have their favorite boxes for that purpose, so put these in there. Nope, they went to ware the other media was. These are very thin and just do not appeal to them.

Not at all enticing to my hens--Worthless as a "nesting" material
I like that these are easy to clean and probably durable, but as my hens won't go near them, I haven't need to clean them and can't truly test how durable they are as they're certainly NOT getting any use!

The jury is still out about cleanliness
For many years we have used pine shavings in the coop and nest boxes. When it's muddy outside, the inside gets dirty. When an egg gets cracked, the inside gets a bit dirty. None of this changes by using these pads. instead of just sweeping aside the dirty bedding, the pads need to be cleaned. While this task isn't difficult, it leaves me wondering how long the foam pads will last until they begin to rip.
