The latest craze in nail art is using a horseshoe magnet to achieve the "velvet" effect with magnetic polishes: and, because it's trickier to achieve the look in ordinary lacquer rather than gel, many people have made a big fuss about getting a 30lb pull magnet, which costs a ridiculous amount and is tricky to store away from electronic devices or cards. This medium-size magnet has much less pull (just under 20lb), but is really all you need for magnetic polish. The magnet's central "well" is perfect for sliding in a finger and painting inside the magnetic field, and it is a comfortable height on which to leave the nail to rest while waiting for the polish to dry - I found 2 mins per nail gave me the best result.

It's the perfect size for my fingers, the gap width is 2cm and its a comfortable fit for my thumb. It has a strong pull, I accidentally placed it near my bar magnet and it shattered and a piece flew across the room, so be careful.

Can definitely recommend for the use of magnetic nail polish, it's very strong and the gap is sizeable enough for bigger fingers like thumbs as well.

If you’re buying this for velvet or glass bead nails, it’s absolutely worth it. I’ve tried using bar magnets and strong neodymium magnets and they’re too finicky and break easily. If you’ve been wondering if it’s worth splashing the cash, it absolutely is! And the thumb fits, I don’t have small hands.

Bought it to do a specific job and it does!

Ich benutze ihn wie viele andere auch für Velvet-Nails mit magnetischem Nagellack.Dafür funktioniert er perfekt und ist sehr einfach im Vergleich zu anderen Magneten.Die mittlere Fläche ist 2cm breit, also passt auch mein dickerer Daumen gut rein.So funktioniert der Style für mich:1. 1-2 Schichten vom Nagellack ohne Magnet auftragen für Deckkraft2. Dritte Schicht auftragen und danach Finger in den Magneten legen3. Ca. 60 Sekunden trocknen lassen4. Top-Coat auftragen und Finger wieder in den Magnet legen und trocknen lassenSo hält der Magnet-Effekt gut :)

Aimant très efficace et pratique, conforme à la description et aux photos. Il suffit d'enlever la plaque de protection et de poser son doigt dessus pour voir la magie opérer en 1 seconde chrono. Bien plus performant qu'un aimant à nail art classique, pour un effet "velvet". Attention tout de même en enlevant la protection du dessus, l'aimant étant très puissant, il peut vous retourner un ongle en 1 seconde aussi (ce qui serait contre-productif). Je suis très satisfaite et recommande à 100%.

Acheté pour repérer des montants acier. Fait le job.Il faut retirer la plaque de protection métallique et faire attention aux bords qui sont coupant.
