Clips are plastic. Looks like they will break if I worked in them.

Easy on easy off from the sides. Stay up and straps don't loosen throughout the day. Hubby loves these. Will buy more

good idea but will not stay adjusted without a safety pin
I use these to hold my pants up while working or hiking. They won't stay adjusted when you work or get sweaty. I had to put a safety pin in them to hold them in place.
