Heavy but nice looking
I appreciate the quality and it definitely boost your height. The thick souls seem to grip really well and do not transfer cold or heat to your feet because of how thick they are. I anticipate the uppers will not rip free of the souls, and I anticipate the shoe will last very very long, maybe even decades.

Overrated
I’ve had these shoes for about 6 months now, and disappoint is the only way I can describe how I feel about this shoe. To start off, the shoes themselves weigh a lot, probably a few pounds each. I’ve worn combat boots that weigh less than this. The quality of the shoes also was a disappointment. The exterior leather was prone to scratches and cuts, only by walking in the city, I don’t think these shoes have seen any harsh terrain. As for the interior of the shoe, finding the right size is very difficult as the shoe will always be too large or too small, which will mark up your feet and give you blisters if you don’t wear really thick socks, which normally I would be okay with, but even after wearing for 6 months I feel like I could never break them in. The soles of the shoe I have found to slip around and not be properly attached to the shoe, so you would always feel the crease of the sole on your foot which would irritate my feet and cause me to take off the shoe to fix the sole, which of course would slip again 5 minutes later. The comfort of these shoes was subpar at best, with a combination of the weight, the sole slipping, and how much my feet will hurt after walking for short distances in them. The only up side to this shoe is that they do look good when you first buy them. It’s needless to say that I was disappointed for my first time buying from this brand and the retail price of $180. I recommend skipping this shoe and save your feet and wallet the trouble.
