I love this movie

I order this movie because it was a childhood movie to me and I use to watch it on VHS. It is so hard to find it and I found this at a really good price, sweet deal. I did notice when I got the movie, I am use to seeing thing's in a covered protector of plastic so you know its new, it didn't have it but the insert does explain it and guarantees its brand new. My family loves it and we watch it over and over!

does not play on any dvd player easily accessible. you have to have a kind i’ve never even heard of. so sad i spent my money on this. loved this movie as a kid and i wanted to share it with my little sister but i can not. and on top of that the wait was so long! waited about a month so i was even more let down when i couldn’t watch it. a whole month of being excited to be completely let down. wish i could give it less than one star.

Well worth your money. The movie arrived very early. A very fun satire for the whole family. Some people are complaining about it not working here. That is true if you have a DVD player that does not play movies from other countries. I just bought a Tojock DVD player and it plays DVDs from this country as well as other countries without issue. This movie will make you smile and forget about all the craziness going on today for a bit. I definitely recommend it.

I watched it before I let my granddaughter see it because she still gets scared of monsters and witches. It’s not really scary but it’s kind of silly because they added characters which don’t appear in any book I have read about Hansel and Gretel…

I was worried buying pressed but it was completely scratch free and I love this movie so much I was so happy when it showed up thank you sm happy holidays♡♡♡

This is the movie I watch when I need a laugh with no strings attached. I bought my first copy years ago not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised by the modern twists and the unexpected turns. There was just enough of the original story line to keep me on track without boring me. I've gone through four copies only because I lend it to friends (all were single and childless also) who understandably adds it to their collection. Each person had his/her own favorite line but we laugh at the others when we compared notes. I RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE ONLY IF YOU WANT TO BE ENTERTAINED WITHOUT HAVING TO THINK.

When I was in grade school back in the 80s or early 90s I remember watching this in the old media room we had. I think we were studying about Grimm Fairy Tales at the time. I had seen all three or at least the first two seemed familiar, however, Bearskin was what I remember seeing. I have vivid memories of watching the devil clean the soldier . . . anyways it is only 20 minutes but every time I watch it I see something I new or something that I had not seen before. I would recommend this to anyone. Kind of expensive unless you find a used copy. I would recommend watching this.

Lo único bueno de haberla comprado fué que tenía descuento y no sentí tan feo de haber tirado mi dinero a la basura, además del servicio siempre eficiente y puntual de Amazon en sus entregas. Con respecto a la película... aburrida y me atrevo a decir ridícula. La historia está distorcionada con una realidad de los 90's, donde aparece "el hombre de arena" que para mi era como "el genio de la lámpara", un hada, un ogro, la sexy malévola madrastra y un cuervo más falso que un muñeco guiñol, así como escenarios con letreros de gas neon (clásicos de esa década) en los caminos del bosque donde se perdieron Hansel y Gretel. Utilicen su dinero en algo mucho mejor y de provecho.

Zur Hilfe eilen den beiden Kindern der Sandmann und eine Fee.Wie aus meiner oberen Beschreibung erkennbar, handelt es sich hierbei um eine amerikanische Verfilmung von Hänsel und Gretel. Ein sehr süßes sowie niedlich dargestelltes Märchen, das ich für Kinder nur empfehlen kann.Wichtig zu Wissen ist aber, dass diese DVD im englischen Format NTSC vorliegt, so dass hier ein codefreier DVD-Player zum Abspielen notwendig ist. Die Sprache und der Untertitel sind in Englisch, so dass ich den Erwachsenen und den Kindern, welche Probleme mit dieser Sprache haben, zum Kauf dieser vorliegenden DVD abraten möchte.Wer aber keine Verständnisschwierigkeiten hat, dem kann ich diese Verfilmung nur wärmstens empfehlen. Insbesondere der Detailreichtum des Hexenräusschen und das ist ja nunmal das zentrale Motiv dieses Märchens, ist hier von mir zu erwähnen und zu unterstreichen.

L'histoire est narré par un père à ses enfants. Il s'agit bien d'une histoire ressemblant à Hänsel Gretel, mais si le sujet est toujours à peu près le même, l'interprétation est un peu fantaisiste. J'ai acheté ce DVD pour le montrer à ma petite fille de quatre ans, mais je crois que je vais devoir attendre, elle aurait trop peur.
