Great way to get an upper body workout.
The media could not be loaded. I've used an Ab wheel in the past... it was one of my favorite exercises for working out my upper body. This simple wheel will work out your back, abs, shoulders, chest, arms, glutes, etc....However... you need to start slow..... otherwise your stomach will be so sore you'll never use the wheel again. Watch the short video.... if you tart out by extending all the way out.... and you don't have any history of Ab workouts.... you'll be hating' life the next day. Start out by extending maybe 30% to 50% and use the included assist cables to help you back to the start position. Slowly extending further and losing the assist cables.I hadn't used anAb wheel in a few years and my stomach showed it..... I used this for about 5 minutes... extending all the way out... and wow... I was sore for several days. back to the beginner level for me.I will keep using it and work my way back to doing 5 sets of 12 fully extended within a couple months.I cannot think of any one piece of workout equipment that gives the same level of results to your entire upper body like the Ab wheel. Keep using it and within a couple months you will see and feel the results. This Ab wheel comes with the assist straps which you can also use for other exercises. It also comes with the gear looking things that you can use for massaging sore muscles? I guess you remove one handle from the wheel, replace the wheel with the gears and you get a message roller. This is a great value. It works well, feels sturdy, and the accessories are a bonus. Highly recommended.

I love it
Ok I'm not going to lie, but when I first put this together I didn't know what I was doing so I thought this was going to be one of those poorly made workout products and I was ready to be disappointed. Only because it didn't come with instructions, which they need to consider including for future products. Anyways, I came back on Amazon to look again and man, that instruction pamphlet should be a requirement. So I followed the picture instructions on the product page and let me just say this, this a well thought out product. The knee pads were a little unconventional, but they are thick enough that my knees are not in pain when I'm kneeling. I also like the fact that it's not one solid piece but 2 separate pieces; I believe it helps build your core from trying to set them up. Aside from that, maybe can consider adding another metal pole so that you'd have one for the roller itself and one for the massager. The stretch bands are such a great add on because for me, it literally helps pull me back to start position because as of right now, my core is WEAK (I can't even do 1 sit up, sigh). Overall, this is a great addition to my home gym! Yes there was a missing instruction book, but I was able to find it on their product page which then lead me to use this product properly and now I'm gonna blast this core till it's rock solid and I can at least do 100 sit ups. See you guys on the other side.

Good Range of Extensions, Difficulty Handlebars Installation
Didn't come with instructions, but it seems straightforward. The axle handlebar tube seems quite thin. Initially, I struggled to get the handles to reach the wheel, making me doubt its usability. I had to forcefully push the handles, but there was a small gap about 0.25" between the handles and the wheel on both sides, causing slight wobbling. In the advertised photos, it seemed like the inner handles were in direct contact with the wheel. It would've been better if the handles twisted onto threaded ends of the axle tube for a secure fit and had rubber inlays for improved grip. The ab roller did offers a good far range of extensions, and adding resistance bands improved my workouts along with some comfort from the thin knee pads. The massage roller felt stiff, and the cog shaped beads moved smoothly on clothes but were a bit uncomfortable on bare skin due to the rigid plastic. It was challenging to target specific pressure points. Overall, it's a decent ab roller with room for improvement.

Surprisingly versatile
Sure, this thing is an ab-roller wheel. There are probably millions of them out there. But what sets this one apart from others is the versatility! Being able to "take it apart" and use the different components to use it as a muscle massager, and/or to utilize the resistance bands that are included makes it a one-stop shop item to get you well on your way until you get serious with your workouts and need to upgrade. No sense spending extra money on items until you know you'll use or need them. You really just can't beat the value of this product

Stable and Effective
I really like this Ab Core exerciser. The quality materials is very good and the versatility is impressive. What I really like about the wheel is that it’s not the really skinny wheels where you have to also have lateral control. It’s actually much wider, so it gives you a more stable platform. That being said, you can angle it, and get lateral ab workouts as well. On the downside, there were absolutely no instructions with it, so make sure you have a good idea by looking at the Amazon site to make sure you know how to use the equipment properly.Recommended

Feels cheap and the wheel is clunky
My first impression was not great when I opened it up. It looks as cheap as it costs. The steel tube that you slide everything on to has me wondering how long it will last before it bends in half. The additional "massage gears" are just plastic gears that don't do anything because the bar is too narrow, in my opinion. The wheel itself looks very cheap with a couple of stickers slapped on to decorate it. It also has a textured wheel, for some inexplicable reason, that clunks along when you use it. Not sure why you wouldn't want a smoothly rolling wheel. One thing I hadn't considered was that this whole apparatus comes apart. I haven't experienced an issue with the handles coming off mid use but, that seems like something that could very well happen. This functions on a basic level but, I don't think it will have much longevity.
