Very nice isolation box
This isolation box works very well. I put some very young fish I wanted to keep isolated from the rest of the aquarium in the large version of this isolation box. The suction cups worked perfectly and held the box with no issues. I lowered the water level in the main aquarium about half an inch so that the lid of isolation box was not submerged. This allowed me to open and close the lid without it floating away. There was enough water flow through the slots in the side of the box that no food or fish waste remained on the bottom of the box; I did not have to clean the box. The young fish thrived in the box and after a few weeks they doubled in size and I released them into the main aquarium. Very satisfied with this product and would recommend to anyone needing an isolation box.

Don't put tiny fry in here with the lid on
The media could not be loaded. So I like the big size of this. I was able to put all of the fry together in here. However, when I put the lid on & submerged it to stick it to the side of the tank w/the suction cups, babies started getting out thru the large air slots at the top!! I was mortified bc immediately the big fish tried to eat them!My solution after catching the babies was to leave the lid off and put it high enough out of the water so they can't get out. I took out some water from the big tank to lower the water level. It's too hard to get the lid off the baby tank bc the light hood has to be lifted to maneuver. To do that every feeding is just too much. If those suction cups come loose man those babies are done for...

It's "ok" for the price.
Very easy to assemble, just as easy to come off the track or tilt via the momma fish. Had my electric yellow in here, she's maybe 2 to 3 inches big. She accidently dropped 1 of her fry by accident and couldn't get to it. I woke up the next morning realizing this as the bottom sifter came off track and was tilted like a teeter totter. Works decent, if it comes off the suction cups, it will not float. Keep an eye on your breeder box if you buy it.

Good to go! 👍
Just received it today! Bought the medium size for my 20 galon long tank since I wanted to change a very poor quality one that I have and has been giving me headaches. Delivery on point considering there was a snow storm the same day it said I was receiving it and I did. The box was bent but the product was fine so I can see its sturdy enough. The suction cups are very strong. I included pics for reference, since I wasnt sure about size and had me hesitant from buying. The pictures didn't make it as clear for me. Also the reviews of the slots had me hesitant as well. Very easy to assemble. Hope the pics and review helps.

Gets the job done
This is exactly what I needed to handle a surprise batch of axolotl babies. I had what I thought was 2 girls until one night I look into my tank and find eggs everywhere. After separating my poor gilled best friends, my daughter talked me into keeping a few eggs, and now that my spare tank houses my male axolotl I knew I needed to find a solution quickly. This box is perfect for housing my new babies while giving them the already cycled and perfect tempature water from mommas tank. The only issue I have had is the item came with a crack down the side, I was lucky enough to be able to use it still with no damage to my babies but I was in far too much of a hurry to risk sending it back for a refund and reordering a new one. It's a very temporary need so I make due, when my babies are ready for their own tanks I will attempt to seal it up with silicone in case any of my 5 other tanks decide to give me some fry.
