A little background -- I've tried *all the chairs*. I've tried regular office chairs, "ergonomic" mesh chairs with "lumbar support", old wooden chairs with a straight back, kneeling chairs (hurts your shins), a wobble cushion on a stool, and a yoga ball.And here's are the main four principles I've found: 1) that you need a stool with a surface that "wobbles" so that your butt/back can find the correct angle on it. 2) that the surface area contact has to be large enough so that the muscles over your "sit bones" (bones in your butt) don't get sore. 3) the chair itself has to be stable, and not roll around. 4) The seat needs to be adjustable-height.A wobble cushion on an adjustable-height stool is *great*, but sadly it breaks rule 2. After half an hour, your butt hurts. While a yoga ball provides much more surface area to fix that, but it breaks rule 3 -- even the ones that come with a ring base or plastic base roll around. The base will keep it from rolling around if the ball is sitting on it by itself, but put a person on it and it might as well not be there -- at least with a 75 cm ball.Turns out this is finally the perfect solution, the only one that does everything needed. It allows you to sit with correct posture because it's a yoga ball, it doesn't leave your butt sore because it's wider than a wobble cushion, and the metal base holds it firmly in place so it doesn't roll around.I'm shocked this is basically the only product out there that satisfies all constraints! But kudos to them for designing and manufacturing it. I've finally found THE CHAIR.Note: the sizes can be confusing. The large size is advertised as a 75 cm height (which is correct), but contains a 65 cm diameter ball. This is because the base itself lifts the ball up by 10 cm. Also note that you can inflate it to different amounts for different heights, so the large 75 cm size is actually more like a range of 70-80 cm.

Now that I have the correct item with the wheels, I can say that I am quite pleased with the product itself. After 3.5 years of working from home since 2020, I just couldn't stand my regular office chair any more--my legs were restless and I was slouching constantly. The starfish chair actually makes it kind of hard to slouch...you have to make yourself slouch and it's definitely uncomfortable. Sitting on the ball puts your hips in the right position which then aligns your back. I like this model with the base so the ball isn't rolling around on the floor. The cover over the ball gives it a more stylish look so you don't feel like you are at a gym. I can kind of wiggle around and bounce a bit when I feel fidgety. And it's solved the problem of my legs being restless. In my other chair, they didn't quite reach the floor and I hated having my legs dangle so I would just sit with them crossed up in the chair. Now my feet are comfortably planted on the floor which engages my legs just enough to support my whole body. As I am adapting to this chair, I can tell it's working some muscles in my back because they get a little tired but the posture improvement is worth it and hopefully it makes my back stronger.I will say it took several attempts to get the right product. I ordered the med. size with caster wheels and Amazon sent me one without wheels twice. I had to go straight to Enovi for resolution. Fortunately, the package from Amazon included contact info for Enovi so I emailed them and told them of the problem. They responded right away and agreed to send me the right product at no additional charge. I was impressed at how quickly they responded and how generous they were with the resolution. I was only hoping to get the wheels sent and they sent a whole new chair.

I love this chair, but it’s definitely way too tall for me. I got the M with casters because of the height recommendation (I’m 5’2) I immediately had to take the casters off because my feet came nowhere near the ground. Without the casters on I can sit at a desk but my feet only touch the ground on tip toe. I will have to size down for sure, I would recommend the chair but I would also recommend you size down

I've had this guy for about a month and I've been loving it. It did take a bit of time to get used to it, and I did have to adjust the air a few times at first but it's held up really well. I used an air compressor to fill it up quicker. My partner laughed at it at first but recently tried it and liked it. Definitely helps alleviate pressure and keep better posture.

Comfortable chair. They have amazing customer service. The ball of my chair popped, and that same day they responded and had a new chair sent to me.

I got the medium size with a burgundy cover. The ball feels like a standard exercise ball in terms of material. The frame is sturdy and well designed. The cover is thick, tightly woven, and fits the unit like a glove. It doesn’t fell like it will ever pill, and its thick enough that it wont tear or rip easily.I am 5’3” and the medium size was a little too big for me - my feet don’t quite reach the floor with the wheels on.

La uso per alternare il lavoro seduta e mi trovo davvero molto bene. Mi sento più "sicura" che nell'usare una palla da yoga classica senza supporto e posso usarla anche durante i meeting senza preoccuparmi. Ho comunque la mobilità del bacino sollecitata e se voglio fare gli esercizi "classici" la palla può comunque essere utilizzata. Comodissima la piccola pompa non ingombrante ma efficace!

Der Aufbau ist leicht, der Metallrahmen wird zusammengesteckt und der Ball mit der mitgelieferten Pumpe aufgeblasen. Mir gefällt der Hocker besser als erwartet. Er zerkratzt den Boden nicht und rollt nicht einfach weg, wie ein normaler Gymnastikball. Super für die Schwangerschaft und danach.
