This is an imaginative bedtime story about the moon, as if the moon were a mythical creature/fairy/goddess. I appreciate the theme of taking responsibility for your mistakes. It's a good lesson for kids and parents alike! Great illustrations as well. They have an old school children's book feel to them, which I love.

The illustrations were simple and cute. The story is a fun fable. There are some words that are way above grade level. The formatting in many spots could be better. The dialogue between characters is blended together in one paragraph without proper paragraph spacing. Overall, it was a cute story.

“Princess Emily and the Moon” is a sweet, imaginative tale about how the moon came to be in the sky for everyone to enjoy. The writing is good, though it could use some paragraph editing. The story is perfect for the intended age level, although there are several words used that are well above that level and will need to be explained to your child. But that can be a plus, being an opportunity to increase their vocabulary. Definitely recommend for a good bedtime story for young children!

I enjoy how this author can weave her teaching lessons throughout her storyline and support them with beautiful illustrations. In a gentle but firm manner, she addresses Princess Emily's curiosity, which defies the king's directions and his sages' directions. However, when Emily sees the effects of her poor choice, she seeks to right her wrong. It's a touching example revealing the importance of admitting and correcting our mistakes. Ultimately, everyone benefits from Emily's error, so now everyone can enjoy the beauty and peace of the moon. Children will delight in hearing this story over and over. Janet Gallagher

This book reminded me of some of the fables I've read, but with a modern feel. A complete story that most children will find satisfying. The artwork is well done in a dream-like style.

This book reminded me so much of the many fairy tales I read as a kid. The nostalgia was definitely there, and my 4-year-old was engaged and curious about many aspects till the end. It's a nice addition to bedtime reads for children under 8 years of age. I loved it!

Princess Emily and the Moon is a fantasy bedtime story which teaches the courage to right the wrong. The author, Claire Mills has a creative way of showing Princess Emily's mistakes and truthful experiences with the Moon to heal her Father and kingdom through colorful illustrations.

Princess Emily and the Moon is a very adorable story depicting how the moon came to be in the sky. It is full of wonder and awe, in addition to some really pretty pictures. I can't imagine a little one who would not love this book.

Very enjoyable story with beautiful illustrations. It's a simple story about a child who owned up to her mistake and accepted the consequences to make amends. A good lesson for children to learn and a good way to open a conversation about taking responsibility for one's actions. Highly recommend.
