Does anyone have the actual measurements of this red bed? It seems that people have found it is a bit smaller than appears and I have an 11lb cat.

The outer dimensions are 18 x 14". Notice that different color beds have different outer dimensions listed, and therefore different inner dimensions will result.  Here are the inner dimensions for the Sage or Laurel Green 18 x 14" bed: 16" inside from front to back, 12" wide (side to side), and the height inside from the pillow top to the inner hood top is 15". The oval opening is 9" x 10". I have the sage green one, I assume all colors measure the same. My 11 lb outdoor feral cat (spayed, of course) fits in there fine; don't forget cats like to curl up and be snuggled. They will use this if they feel cold. It will be too warm for them if it's not cold, and probably will not use it when the temperature is comfortable, because it'll be too hot. It's flexible, so it will widen from 12" to even 15" to fit your cat if necessary, because there is plenty of height to "steal" from and bend outward. I read the other dimensions given by others, ...I do carpentry and my measurements for this sage color bed are correct, and done without stretching the bed in any direction. The measurement differences may be due to slightly different sizes in manufacture of different colors, or the flexibility of the sides, or the stretching after the pet has been using it and it re-shapes somewhat. Bottom line: it's plenty big enough for an 11-lb cat, or even larger.

Is  the cushion shown  inside  included ??

Yes, the cushion is included and it also can be taken out of the bed.

Armarkat manufactures the beds but where are they made and is there any odor from the foam inserts?

I don't know where they are manufactured.  I received 3 beds and they were individually wrapped in sealed plastic bags.  There may have been a slight odor when I opened each bag, but the odor did not linger.  The cats took to them right away.  These beds are nice and roomy.

Question 4

can these beds be put out in the open yard for ferral cats since they are water proof

I used mine for a street cat that came to my door and stayed there since. I keep it outside for him to sleep and he loves it. I had had the bed at least three weeks outside and still works and looks the same.
