I impulse bought this towel because I have other Turkish towels and I loved those so I wanted some for my bathroom I was renovating. I didn’t want to spend the $45 from the first place I got my kitchen towels so I took a chance with this one. One word: AMAZING. Some reviews were saying it’s not soft or it doesn’t dry your body, blah. Well after I got it I washed it in cold water and in the dryer on delicate. It’s been hanging in my bathroom until tonight just sitting there looking pretty for awhile since I’ve been renovating my bathroom I wanted to wait till it’s done. Finally got the bathroom finished, so finally got to test it out. I used my red towel for my hair because I just got it dyed red and I didn’t want it to potentially transfer to the Turkish towel. I wrapped it around me, and it felt like the towel was giving me a hug. It dried my body no problem, better then my regular towel actually. I could literally wrap it around me like a blanket and it covered me to my knees. I was so excited I literally ran into my living room to show my husband how much I loved this towel. Of course he loved the other sights he was getting but none the less, he was happy that my impulse buy wasn’t a dud. I immediately went on my Facebook to tell everyone they need this towel. I am seriously in love. I only bought one because I figured if it was crap at least it was only one towel not two. Now I’m going to buy another. Seriously, if you’re on the fence, just do it. You will not regret it.Even though it is light weight, it literally feels like a blanket being wrapped around you. It’s so cozy. Just do it. Just get it. Make sure to wash it first, (I washed mine with my other Turkish towels since they are the only thing I own that are delicate.) in love. 100000%

I love this towel so much I bought more for the rest of the family. It's exactly what I was hoping it would be. I got tired of lugging heavy wet traditional terry towels home from the swimming pool. These air dry quickly so they are dry enough the next time we get out of the pool that we don't feel like we're drying off with a cold wet towel. They also take up very little room once folded. I love the contrast of the black renaissance design which is equally beautiful on both sides - I've worn it as both a wrap and a scarf on cold days at the beach. It was amazingly soft on arrival and even more so after washing. It would make a lovely gift, and would also be great for travel.

This 'pesthemal' is like a beach towel but the texture is more like a gauze than a towel. It does not have piles and it is thin compared with a standard towel. This piece is big enough so one can wear it as a pareo. The pattern and color are beautiful. My favorite is a combination of two 'pesthamals' in gray and light blue. They are chic and gorgeous. The price is reasonable but it is classy. The nice little bag makes it special for a present. One practical advice for a new user is that when you wash it, you want to wash it separately from other laundry. It gives off fluffs for the first wash which will be on other laundry. I could easily brush them off, but if I had known it I would not have washed it with other stuff.

First off, I knew from pervious reviews this wasn't a towel, it's more of a small throw. I use it on my recliner so my neck won't stick to the leather. It does the job and is not unattractive.
