Ive been looking for a flickering bulb which looks as real as possibleThis is a great item , ive fitted one to an old street gas lamp post i converted to Electric it looks great , so many people have already commented on how realistic it looks and this gives off a pretty bright glowing light tooThis is a great item unfortunately im not able to say yet how long these will last but at the minute all looks good

A nice flame effect. I have them in two coach lights each side of my front door. Look lovely, but don't throw out much light.

The media could not be loaded. Quirky light bulb that gives out a fantastic flame effect. Bulb stays cool. I've put it in a rattan shade in my fireplace because we can't have a real fire but love the effect of a flickering flame. This bulb is great and cheap too.

I bought this for my forthcoming Halloween party and it looks great. Looks like a burning flame and great when the lights are turned off.

So I got this item as I like the look of flames in the lounge but candles often don't produce enough lightForst point worth noting... when turned on the flame looks nothing like the l9ving flame in the picture. It is made up of a serious of single LED's that come on sequentially to give a flame effect. However, you can see each LED and therefore it doesn't look like a flame. The bulb itself is quite ugly as well.I gave it 3 stars still as of you don't look at it it does still give a nice flickering effect. I spent an extra £1 on a different bulb and that gives the flicker and actually looks like a flame... so buy a different bulb....

The bulb has been used in an outside porch light and looks very good when in the flame mode but would have been better if the flame had looked redder

Flickering effect works well behind a decorative cover. Just need to note that the bulb is large and may not fit all fixtures. I had to modify my fixture just so the two pins of the bayonet cap can reach the correct position to lock into place.Otherwise, does its job.
