Great for indoors training
I bought this to use indoors when the weather is not conducive to working outside. Also, to work new puppies so they get use to taking direction and becoming familiar with agility commands.

dog agility training equipment
The media could not be loaded. The four-piece set includes everything necessary to create a full-fledged agility course that can be used either indoors or outside. The set comes complete with a stopbox, weaving sticks, and an adjustable bounce obstacle. As the owner of a canine companion, I am aware of how important it is to provide my four-legged buddy with the appropriate amount of attention and exercise on a regular basis. The qualities that this product offers provide us with a better solution to this issue because of how easy it is to assemble, how lightweight it is, and how durable it is. One of the many amazing characteristics that they have is that the height of the jump fence can be altered to accommodate dogs of varying sizes and degrees of agility. Because of the little modification, my dog selected a participant and boldly jumped in after a short amount of time. Molded wood is used, which is another one of the set's distinctive characteristics. They enhance my dog's agility and organization, as well as provide him with fresh challenges and a feeling of excitement in his otherwise mundane daily routine. The fact that the kit comes with a box stand is quite convenient for me since it gives my dog a place to rest his head and collect his thoughts while we are working on the obstacle course. Dogs just starting out in the sport of agility can benefit tremendously from the inclusion of this fantastic accessory.

Great idea
Some of the pieces seem cheap like the bag and the square that the dog is supposed to sit in-it's very flimsy. It's a great idea and I think would hold up butIt was just too big and overwhelming for my little dog. So I returned it.

So fun!
I purchased this, a couple of more jumping poles and a 5 foot tunnel. The dog and I are having so much fun. We live in Arizona and it’s too hot to go out in the summer so we play with this a lot.

These were fairly easy to assemble, lightweight and exactly what I was looking for.

Average quality agility training equipment
The overall quality of the materials used in construction of the obstacle course are of pretty average quality, most of which you could make fairly easily yourself with some PVC pipe from your local home improvement store. That being said, it is well-cut so that everything fits together nicely. The carrying bag is basically just a low-end gym bag, but it does do its job. I found the pause box to be pretty useless as it is little more than a square outline made out of material similar to the carrying bag. You could easily make something similar yourself by cutting up an old shower curtain.

Need to take a "color" picture of this product on Amazon...
Annoying that the instructions /c diagrams that come with the product are only in black and white. So much faster to put together using a colored diagram. However, both my dog and I love this "partial" Agility Course equipment. Had to set it up in my living room so my dog to learn to use it ... as it is WAY TOO HOT outside currently for outdoor use in Florida. My dog is now already about 75% consistent with going OVER the jump bar (she has a long history of being afraid of jumping over things) in just a week. I need to better train myself with the use of the "Clicker" (that is included), to really make her negotiating the course more readily when she speeds up thru course... I'm already holding her back some. I plan to purchase the tunnel thing, and build her an "A" frame thing to go up one side and down the other. She's caught on to the weave poles pretty well but still needs to to follow the treat some, so as not to skip any poles. The treat pouch is good quality and can hold a nice amount of treats. I added a coach's whistle next to the clicker - so that when she's off leash she can hear to come with distractions or loud noises in the area. (She's been trained on the whistle since little due to us living adjoining 5 miles of Conservation land, that includes Cypress wet lands and lots of wildlife to potentially chase). So glad I ordered this product, we both love the quality time together and the stimulation and exercise my dog gets with this activity. Will add video once we are outside using the features of this product.

Fun Agility Training in your Backyard
The media could not be loaded. I have an active Pitty Mix who loves to be outside playing and sniffing. I have done all my training on my own and saw this and thought I could start working on some different things such as jumping, weaving, crawling, and maybe even learning some directions such as left, right, forward, backwards. The set comes with all the pieces. Read the directions and set all your pieces that are alike in a group, it may help speed up which pole goes with what.Once you know what pieces go together, then it’s pretty easy to setup. I had some extra poles left over, so maybe they are spares. I can probably put this together in about 5 minutes now, as you don’t have to break all the parts down as you can leave some parts connected which I can still store in the bag for easier setup next training session. The components are all plastic, lightweight, and have smooth contours. They fit together well and are easy to pull apart. They are not extremely durable, so I wouldn’t subject them to abuse and follow the advise not to leave them permanently setup outside for prolonged weather. My dog day 1 responded very well to these. She was able to the weave fairly well and was able to jump the jumps. It took a little practice, but not much. Now she isn’t a pro and still requires guidance, treats, and praise, but she is improving with the help of this set.Even if you are not big into training, it could be some good stimulation to give to your pup just for a walk that has something new.The only negative so far is the bags zipper came off the second time I used it. For now still storing in the supplies bag, but I bet within about 6 months it will wear out.
