V&A Book Jackets - Orchard

I had a surprise when this arrived as I didn’t realise it’s made of cloth. I love it! Fits my Good News Bible very well! I have an old version from the eighties so not sure it will fit all versions. Mine is about 19cm by 13 cm. It’s a very pretty and colourful cover!

In light of the many reviews about the kind of books this product fits, I can say that it fits an 800 page (Penguin) paperback book that is 199 mm tall. And it fits a (Verso) paperback book of 300 pages that is 197 mm tall. Both comfortably. Once fitted it's an excellent book cover. However, anything taller is not suitable, I have found. I have very many books for which this product would be too small. The packaging it comes in says "Suitable for paperback and hardback books up to 200 mm tall". So it would be best to measure your book first. I intend to buy some more of these as gifts, that's how much I liked the ones I bought

I was looking for a book cover that stays on it while you're reading it, as opposed to one you just store the book in. I've bought two of these, now, and are very pleased with them. They fit most standard paperbacks, and look lovely.

Fits the great, nice look and my wife loves it - stops people asking what book are you reading and instead, that's a nice cover!

Looks nice and good material but it's too small, I have many books and none of them would fit, so I had to return it. But if you are looking for a small book jacket, it's a cute one.

Firstly when my product arrived it had already been opened, the plastic split and label attempted to be peeled off. Product says “adjustable to fit most paperbacks” however as you can see from the images I didn’t use a thin book, but it fits so poorly it’s hard to imagine it will offer any protection at all and just slips right off if I don’t have a proper hold. A shame because a beautiful design and idea and from V&A.

Would of been better with a bit of back bone

Shame... Such a PREMIUM cover with a beautiful design, yet it does NOT fit my current books . I attached just one example. Fits DvD box size books.. the material is awesome af but i cannot use it for now.I do NOT want to return it because i hope it will fit my future books.shame tho.. im sad & hopeful tho

Wenn man seine Bücher liebt und beim Gebrauch schützen möchte ein toller Umschlag, schön gearbeitet, robust und greift sich gut.

Está muy bien, es bastante fácil de colocar en el libro y el diseño es muy bonito. Sirve para libros medianos (un Penguin classic es la medida que se me ocurre), no para ficciones comerciales de 800 páginas.

Thoughtful product, if you are keen to take care of the books. But the one size fits all idea doesn't seem to get along with my collection.
