I would give this product 10 stars if I could!
Fabulous product! I finally found a product that completely meets my needs...a soothing, fresh-smelling medicated powder that creates a barrier to moisture accumulation. Without getting too personal, I am an adult male who had prostate cancer 6 years ago. My prostate was removed surgically and I am doing very well...no more cancer. However, as a side effect of the surgery, keeping my private area dry has been a challenge...until now. Over the years I have tried literally dozens of products, with varying degrees of success. However, this formulation, with zinc oxide, has changed my life. No more red , irritated or chafed skin. Whatever minor leakage I have does not affect my skin in any way, as the zinc oxide keeps the entire area dry. I know this is a product designed for babies, but anyone who shares some of the issues I have would be wise to try this product. Thank you Johnson and Johnson!

Good product but don't use if you don't have too.
I haven't used this in a long time but when I did it worked pretty well. I use to put it directly in the diaper then rub it in so it wouldn't end up in my baby's butt crack. The reason why I stopped using it is because powder is linked to asthma in children so I only used it until my baby rash went away and thank god it hasn't come back! My method is washing my baby's butt instead of wiping it than letting it dry completely then I use the mother love ointment and rub it in till it seeps into the skin then I put her diaper on. I was really upset with the hospital because when I got my baby from the nursery she had a rash and they kept saying it was hormones so I believed it so I didn't treat it until it started spreading and I took all my time and energy to tackle the problem.. . Mom's trust your gut! Sometimes doctors have no clue wth they're talking about. To be honest I've been the one correcting the doctors because it's like they don't even bother trying to figure out what's wrong with your baby, they just name something and say they'll be find. That's why it's always good to get a second opinion and do your own research. You know what's not normal in your own baby.

Talcum Free. Medicated and awesome.
I love the Medicated Cornstarch powder for my little one's diaper. He is quite headstrong and refuses to let me use any cream at all on his bottom. This medicated powder basically helps to make sure he does not get a red bum. He is very sensitive and if he goes for even a few minutes in a wet diaper, he gets a rash. This powder relieves the pain and helps keep the bum dry enough to heal. While changing his diaper at the mall one day, this 16 year old had to give me a lecture on using TALCUM powder on my baby and how her baby class taught her how dangerous it was to use the powder. Obviously this teenage mother was not aware that J&J Powder does NOT USE TALCUM.Talc is bad. That is why you almost never find any baby powders made with Talc anymore at the store. Cornstarch has a much larger particle size than talcum. So it is not as easy to inhale. As with anything, just be careful. Don't make a huge cloud of powder. Keep the bottle closed so the little one does not accidentally knock it over and create a powder mushroom cloud.I tried using the other types, but they just don't heal the red bum nearly as well. So, I will keep using the medicated as it keeps the rash away from the sensitive baby bum.

Use it as Setting Powder over Make-Up
Personally, I love this stuff because I use it as a setting powder over the light makeup I wear. Setting powder is overpriced, honestly. So, I love using this stuff after mixing my sunscreen and a dash of foundation together and "dolling" up my face. Once my mixture dries, I "matte" it out with this stuff. The added 10% zinc makes it more amazing and further protects me from sun damaged skin. I bought a two-pack.Love this stuff. It will last me awhile.

Must have for new moms!
Before I had my son about a year and a half ago, I came across the great "is baby powder safe??" debate. So I spoke to both my OB and my son's soon to be pediatrician, who both said that it's talc that can be dangerous if inhaled by baby, not cornstarch. I myself love using J&J cornstarch baby powder on hot days; it keeps my skin soft and prevents chafing so I was glad to know I could safely use this product on my son. At first I kept half of the sticker label on the top so half of the holes are covered, this prevents too much product from dispensing. That being said, we have used J&J medicated powder on our son every say for 17 months, and he has NEVER HAD A DIAPER RASH! not even a hint of one! We had stocked up on diaper rash cream before he was born and they are still all unopened. One bottle of powder lasts us several months. This product is a must have for new moms and dads, I always include it in baby shower gift baskets I give to my friends!

Excellent product!
Excellent product. After having my baby my apron belly became a problem. I started noticing I sweat profusely under it and that I was getting a rash. I decided to purchase this and I’m glad I did! Drying, and cleared up the rash!I will not use this on my baby, NOT because of the cancer lawsuit (that was from the talc version of their powders), but because ANY powder that is inhaled can cause respiratory issues.
