BORLENI Certified Armor Pads Set Elbow Shoulder Back for Motorcycle Jackets

I bought these to replace the level 1 pads in my alpinestars jacket and to add a back pad. Seem well made and durable. They are light and move well with you. They fit perfectly in my jacket and don’t move around

Great quality upgrade, especially for the price. I was thoroughly surprised by how much better these armor inserts are compared to the stock foam ones in my old Joe Rocket jacket. They fit perfectly into my 3XL jacket and I barely notice I’m wearing armor. Would definitely recommend.

This is great value, and fits perfectly inside my leather riding jacket. Very easy to install, and I feel safer while riding. It's well made, soft to the touch, but sturdy.

I purchased this 5-piece Borleni armor set (which includes a back pad, two shoulders, and two elbows) as a potential upgrade for my budget riding jackets. The shoulders and elbows are advertised as CE Level 2, while the back protector is listed as CE Level 1. In terms of fit, the shoulder/elbow pads slid into my XL jackets easily and contoured well enough to my body without being overly bulky or restrictive. The back protector though was the wrong size and shape unfortunately so this set did not work for me and I returned it. After returning, I started looking more into certification for CE L1/L2 armor so I had a better understanding of what I'm looking for, what I'm paying for, and therefore what I should be expecting. The polyurethane memory foam material is definitely a step up from the flimsy, useless foam sheets that come stock in most budget jackets, but buyers should understand what they are actually getting here. While these pads are stamped with CE labels, there is a big difference between an Amazon budget brand self-labeling their gear and the strict, independent lab testing you get from premium brands. This polyurethane foam will absorb some minor impact, but it lacks the specialized molecular impact-hardening tech found in verified armor. If you are just putting around town at low speeds or want a cheap way to fill your armor pockets with something denser than factory foam, this set will do the trick. However, if you are riding a naked bike at highway speeds and want armor you can truly trust to protect your spine and joints in a serious slide, I would recommend skipping these. For just a little bit more money, you can get legitimate, independently tested CE Level 1 or Level 2 armor (like AXIAL from RevZilla) that provides verifiable safety for $70-$90. I gave this set 3 stars because it is an affordable stop-gap upgrade over stock packing foam, but it shouldn't be confused with track-ready or premium impact gear.

Good quality, good airflow (using in a mesh jacket), good flexibility (don’t feel stiff), good light weight. Fit well into jacket armor pockets. Will reorder for additional jacket.

Trimmed bottom of back piece to fit... Perfect fit over all. Jacket feels light like u can't feel the armor. Highly recommend for replacement or upgrade.

Since the foam protectors in Susan's jacket rotted over the years this set is a good upgrade. The shoulder and back pads fit perfectly out of the package, but with a little trim the elbow pads were made to fit. The material cuts easily with just a pair of scissors, so if you feel they're a little long based on the specs rest assured it's a simple matter to adjust.
