Morning coffee!

This is the same coffee and chicory I drank in New Orleans at the Cafe du Monde cafe when I was going to college in Louisiana. In fact, it is the only coffee I drink at home here in Iowa. Being a bit of a coffee snob, I make enough to last a week, store it in my refrigerator, and enjoy it at my leisure. I make it strong enough that one cannot see the bottom of the spoon. I grew up drinking espresso at home in Louisiana, so this is my "ground zero" so to speak. Delicious!

After visiting NOLA a few times and going to Cafe du Monde, this is the only coffee I drink. Nice dark roast and the chicory mellows any bitterness.

So good!! I first tried the pods and was very impressed so I ordered the ground beans. Smooth, strong, and so much better than what I was drinking before!
