Birds Love Them
Birds love it. The birdbath is well made. It is lightweight, attractive, sturdy and looks great in my flowerbed surrounded by deep purple iris. The description suggested filling the base of this lightweight birdbath with sand or rock to make it heavier. I recommend doing that after it is placed in its permanent location if you have strong winds, or large dogs who like to drink from the birdbath.

Nice little bird bath
I love the way this looks in my garden, and it does not look like it is made of plastic. The top is a vivid blue with a smooth surface, which reflects the light well, and the base has the rough appearance of stone. A nice contrast. It also looks very sturdy. However, comes in three pieces that are "friction fitted" together rather than screwed together (as the other bird baths I recently purchased), so you just need to know that when you move it, the top is likely to come away from the bottom portions. As long as you leave it in one spot though, gravity does its work. I also like that the dish is nice and deep, holding a lot of water. I did add some river stones to the dish as well as a large piece of bark so that insects can get out of the water before drowning. I also like the look of the wet river rock. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Great Product
The birdbath is beautiful. The color was accurate to the picture online, it feels very durable, and the bowl holds a nice amount of water and is smoother than the outer design which makes it easy to clean. I added rocks and a solar fountain to mine and the birds still have plenty of room to splash around. My only complaint is that the way the pieces fit together could probably be made to connect together better to make it more stable, but even doing nothing extra to mine like gluing it to make it more secure, it has held up well enough with how it fits together, so not a major downside, especially for how inexpensive it is compared to others of its size.

Works great and super easy to assemble
It’s made of high strength plastic, but looks like one made of cement. The base definitely needs to have some sand added to it to stabilize it. After adding sand I set it on some flat concrete stepping stones and it’s rock solid. The birds loved it this past summer. I highly recommend it.

Material is lightweight
The bird bath is cute but the material is fragile. It cracked when it was tipped over to drain the water.

Don't waste your money
I'd give it a 0 if I could. First one I ordered had all these weird brown 'stains' in the basin that appear to be under the coating so you can't get rid of them. Ordered a replacement that had the same issue, but less obvious so I decided to keep it rather than keep ordering and replacing. I assembled it and discovered a host of other design flaws.Basin is bright blue, totally different color than the base which is a dark weathered looking navy blue. I thought it was just a light/shadow issue in the photos but it looks bizarre.Assembly was a nightmare. Not enough threads to keep the basin attached, as soon as a squirrel hops up, it's going to fall off.The screws in the neck are screwing into plastic so you have a split second between tightened and stripped. Once you strip it, there's no way to securely attach the base to the basin. I had to use Gorilla Glue. The bottom base had to be pounded into place, and there's no taking it apart once you figure out the rest of the assembly issues. So no way to return this piece of garbage. Save your money and buy a different birdbath.

Very nice!
I've been searching for a bird bath and not finding just what I want, maybe I'm being picky. I didn't want a bird or other figure on it already, didn't want something to break off if it gets knocked over in a storm or just with time. I wanted some weight to it, even if I can fill it with sand it can still fall over and if it's too flimsy it's just going to break. I didn't want concrete because it's just too heavy to move if I want to. You can see I had a lot of criteria. I ordered this figuring I'd send it back. When I opened the box I was shocked! It has an exterior appearance of concrete as far as texture, somewhat rough rather than that smooth like the cheap plastic molds. The color is very nice and I like the bowl, it is just as pictured, I think it makes it look like concrete. The weight is just right. I did put sand in the base, but it does have some weight and I think unless there was a significant storm or raccoons or large animal it would stay upright without problem. Obviously, the base does hold sand and I did fill it. I still think something like a raccoon could tip it but unless you have a true concrete birdbath I don't know how you get around that, I've had a concrete one that was just crazy heavy and just didn't want that anymore but it held up to those dudes. I did have just a bit of struggle assembling initially, the two base pieces fit tight. I didn't have sand yet and had to take it apart to put the sand in and was a little worried how that would go but I was able to pull it apart and reassemble without problems so I am not taking off any stars as it really wasn't that much trouble and I didn't use any tools to get it together the first time. I think if it was any different it wouldn't fit tight enough and sand would leak out. Birds were using it the first day without a fountain and I plan to put a heater in it this winter. Really a very nice bird bath at a reasonable price compared to what I've seen and I've been shopping around for a couple months.

Love it!
Great birdbath. I put it together myself which couldn't have been more simple. The box was so lightweight when it arrived that I was worried about how stable it would be? I added sand to the middle "leg", as suggested. It is definitely stable! We had huge winds yesterday (50mph gusts) & it didn't move at all. It looks so much like it's cement but it's a fiberclay. Nice looking! Purchased a solar fountain for it. We live in a very sunny area so the fountain spray is over a foot high & with a slight breeze it splashes out of the birdbath... therefore we are refilling it 1-2 times a day. The top bowl easily lifts off so you can dump any leaves etc that might have blown in the water. I give this an A+++++.
