I use rice cooker and use a little less water than what the cooker calls for.

Great side dish for any meals.

Rice is from California, USA.. good flavor. Keep the price reasonable please.

Hard to find "real black" rice. They say it ,but then it's purple or red or a mix. This stuff is short grain, black Emperor rice. Real nutty flavor, can be eaten without any toppings. American grown!

Rare to find a good tasting, high quality black rice in most grocery stores (at least where I live). Glad I found this black rice from Lundberg Family Farms - excellent product!

I use this kind of rice when I want to make a meal a little special. The nuttiness is so delish and the color is unique.

Whenever I make this rice, and I have used a small rice cooker for almost 50 years, it always bubbles over and makes a mess.I figured out a way to fix that by folding up a paper towel and putting it around the edges, so it catches the mess; however, it’s more work than I usually have to do with other rices or grains.This is my favorite brand as it has the least amount of arsenic out of any other rices on the market.I like the rice’s flavor and texture a lot, I just wish it didn’t make such a mess.

I bought two large bags of this rice...went to repackage it for storage and found it’s completely infested with bugs!! I’m not talking ‘just a few bugs’, it’s infested with them!! I will not ever buy dry goods from Amazon again! Disgusting!!

Great product however Costco sells larger bag at 4 pounds for much much less! I was disappointed to learn seller sold this small bag at such a high price.

I bought a few times of this organic rice in SMALL package from supermarket and I like it.This BIG package is NOT as good as I expected.Compared to the small packages, the colour is DARKER and not crystal, the smell is a little bit ODD before cooking, and after cooking, it does nothave the aroma that the fresh sushi rice should have. According to my knowledge and experience, the rice is not stored in a proper way or condition.
