High quality holster case
I bought the case to fit my Sony A7Riii with a 24-105 zoom and lens hood attached. It fits like a glove, offering good protection from knocks and inclement weather. The trunk of the holster innovatively extends and contracts using a simple zip system, at its shortest it accommodates my camera and a Samyang 14mm. There's room for extra cards and a spare battery and the strap is non-slip and comfortable. The journey to find the perfect camera case is long and strewn with lots of frustrating 'if onlys', but the Thinktank seems pretty much perfect to me!

Good MFT (Micro Four Thirds) solution
If like myself you have decided you need a more compact and portable camera system you may also have become utterly frustrated about the gap in the market for options aimed at the fairly modern breed of compact mirrorless cameras and their lenses. I own a panasonic g80 coupled with the panasonic 12-35mm f2.8 and for a year or so I had been carrying it about in the Lowepro Rezo TLZ 20. I'll admit it was a tight fit but there was just enough room for my little bag of filters and the camera body with lens. When I decided to purchase the panasonic 35-100 f2.8 mid range telephoto I found myself in need of a slightly larger holster.I was totally underwhelmed by the choices available and I hunted high and low before I found ThinkTank! I wanted to keep the belt mounted configuration and I particularly liked the quick release option on the Lowepro. I could whip the bag on and off with ease, no need to mess about undoing my trouser belt when getting in and out of the car, I have no idea why Lowepro have removed this feature from there new range it is surely to their detriment. Luckily not only is Think Tank one of the only manufacturers that is doing the quick release belt loop, they seem to make a very well thought out top loading camera bag with an extendable lens section (a fantastic idea if I may say). The holster 10 v2 is big enough to hold my g80 with the 35-100mm (my biggest lens) with the extension un-extended! I’ll admit with the extension out the bag is larger than I wanted but obviously I now have the option of shortening it and to be honest I can fit my camera and both lenses in the bag now so I mainly use it in the extended position. I’m pretty sure the Leica 100-400mm will fit in this bag too so when I finally manage to justify the expense I will not be needing to upgrade again. The holster 10 v2 feels pretty rigid and secure on my belt, there is no chance it could fall off even with vigorous activity and my camera feels pretty well protected. I was tempted to mark it down one star for the uncompetitive price but to be honest I paid it and I’m far from disappointed with the quality and the functionality so I conclude that it is well worth it.The criticisms I have are fairly minor but worth mentioning. It could do with at least one more zip pocket, I have to put my spare battery in with the cagoule, in fact who needs a cagoule anyway! My camera is weather proof and if it’s going to rain I’d surely have a coat on to protect it. Cant see myself ever using it. I guess it’s nice that they made it detachable! The padding around the extension when it’s extended is thin. I know it’s only advertised as being for your lens hood and it would be hard to retract it if there was more padding but people are obviously going to want to carry another lens in it (like me) or use it for a long range telephoto so I figured it’s worth mentioning it. That being said I still carry my alternative lens in it inside the manufacturer supplied lens case and it’s been fine so far.It would be nice if the main lid had a quick release catch (similar to the Rezo TLZ 20) as well as the zips, it’s sometimes a bit cumbersome having to zip and unzip the whole thing every time I need to get to my camera and It doesn’t feel safe leaving the lid un-fastened.So a pretty good review then for this bag, I literally spent a year or so getting annoyed with my configuration before I found this. I visited various camera shops and trawled the internet all the while I was unable to put my camera away with the larger lens on, not that that stopped me from going out shooting but now I just have the one bag that I can quickly slap on and run out the door I am even more likely to have my camera on me. Thank you Think Tank

Pretty good
This fits my R6 with attached stock 24-105, inverted hood, snuggly without extension of the bag. It could hold longer lenses with the extension opening, this adds about an extra 8cm or so.I have used it in light rain without concern, it is well stitched and compact with some useful extra pockets.

SLR carrying case
Ideal full size SLR camera case, long strap so can be worn across the chest for security, easy to access camera from case, light to carry, just the thing to use if you don't want to carry loads of equipment, pockets for extra battery's and memory cards

was very useful on my recent holiday
Sits comfortably on the shoulder and is not prone to slipping off. Holds my Nikon Z7ii with Nikon Z 24-120 S Lens attached … but I used the bottom of the bag extension to house the lens hood (I had a polarizer filter attached) together with two spare batteries and an extra memory cardMy camera had a wrist strap attached and it all zipped up easily

Suits my Olympus with 12-45 f/4
The Holster 5 suits my Olympus EM5 mk 3 and 12-45 f/4 Pro zoom so long as the hood is reversed. It would be very tight with the hood in place and you would probably have to remove the screen protector which I like because it keeps metal parts of a wriststrap away from the screen. There is a rain cover but it seems to only be usable when carrying the bag on a belt without the strap. As the camera/lens combo is splashproof there is no need for the raincover and the included baby flash will fit in the compartment intended for the cover. If you don't have the raincover or flash then the compartment will take the 20mm f/1.7 lumix lens so you are covered for dim light too though the combination is not now splashproof. If its container is not too large you can get a filter in the elastic compartment on the outside of the bag.As well as the screen protector a removal divider is provided but I haven't found a use for it yet.I thought that I might be able to get an alternative outfit of camera, flash, Pana. 20 mm f/1.7 and Oly. 45mm f/1.8 in the bag but I suspect that is not possible or at best very inconvenient.

Good bag to fit Canon R6 Mark 2 with 24-105 lens
After trying a few other bags and sending them back (were too small) tried this one. It’s a good, solid made bag. It’s a bit on a narrow side for my Canon and lens.I have just about1/3 about of lens extension open.Shoulder strap has non slip grip- is very good.On a down side a few things crossed my mind. Not too major, but..Metal strap clips are really heavy- could be lighter.A quick belt release I don’t think is very safe on a 2 strong Velcro fasteners. As a camera with lens and a case weight around 2kg. I wouldn’t trust it. Apart from that a really great bag.

Excellent quality holster with some nice features
This review is for the Digital Holster 5, which is the smallest in Think Tank's Digital Holster series. As with all the Think Tank Digital Holsters, the construction is excellent and made with quality fabric and YKK zippers. It has a high quality professional look to it.And good features, too. It has both a carrying handle and shoulder strap. Two velcro closeable slots to store memory cards, inside the case and on top of the cover. A larger external pouch on the outside that stores a rain fly. It can be used to store a lens cap or a small spare battery. Also on the outside is a thin cloth pocket that can store small, thin items - lens cap, paper, pen, etc. A fabric flap is used to protect the camera's rear LCD screen. Another flap inside acts as a divider. Both use velcro and can be repositioned or removed if desired. Another feature allows the holster to be attached to a belt. Think Tank makes belts specially made for their holsters. Some things to consider...the shoulder strap is very basic, no shoulder pad to offer cushioning. It is adjustable and has strong metal clips so it can be removed quickly if you want. You could use another shoulder strap, but the included one may be all you need. The case is small so you won't be using it for heavy loads. Unlike other Digital Holsters, this Digital Holster 5 does NOT have a bottom that can be unzipped to extend for longer lenses. This Digital Holster 5 is small, too. The outside measures 4.5" x 6.25" x 6.0" high. Internal depth is 5.0" from the bottom of the holster to the top of the opening. Maybe 5.25" if you push down hard enough. As an example, my Olympus EM5 III and 12-40mm f2.8 lens (with lens cap on and hood on backwards) does not fit. It's about a quarter to half an inch too long. Otherwise the camera body fits nicely. If your lens is shorter than the 12-40mm, this case will work fine. Hope you find my review helpful.Overall this is a great holster and I highly recommend Think Tank products.

indispensabile!
