Author Justin F Anderson takes us on an incredible journey, showcasing the fascinating facts of Super Swifts, with great illustrations by Clover Robin. This is a book that I would have loved to have read over and over with my children when they were young. Imagine catching your food and water while you're whizzing through the air - incredible!

Once again, the author deftly brings us into the world of the swift - a bird I was vaguely aware of but really hadn't appreciated. Well written and with gorgeous illustrations, the story introduces children of all ages to the hidden world of a small bird that spend most of it's time flying. I had no idea of the epic migration journey they make every year - this helped me and my children realise how special it is to hear their signature 'screaming' over our heads in the summer. Would definitely recommend for nature-lovers AND for those who are maybe dipping their toes in the world of nature books - this is really accessible and should deliver a bit of awe and wonder.
