I wanted to review this material for ham radio antenna building, but somehow didn't register the thickness of the material. One side has a texture and the other is completely flat with a protective film on it and a glossy finish. So far, I have found the textured side takes Krylon like a dream, but the smooth side requires a little scuffing and some primer before painting. It cuts well and doesn't crack under the vibrations of the saw. I'm testing an unpainted piece now on the antenna mast for UV issues and resistance to sunlight, so we'll see how it ends up. In the impact test, it took several heavy hammer strikes before showing signs of fatigue or damage. Given the thickness, it does take a little longer to convince to bend, but for projects it has done very well so far.

This considered a raw material so how well it performs will depend on your intended project. It is well packed with plastic corner protectors and a protective film on the smooth side of the ABS. One side is smooth and shiny and the other side is textured.
