GildanMen's Underwear Covered Waistband Boxer Briefs, Multipack

I purchased these recently because the brand I had been purchasing had significant quality changes. I've been wearing Gildan T-Shirts for years now, so this made sense to try.These are extremely comfortable, they fit well, they aren't snug in the wrong places & they have held up in the wash. I think it's critical to know that if you wash these in hot water or with bleach (color safe or otherwise), they will start to deteriorate quickly. If the soiling on your undergarments isn't awful, you can machine wash these in warm or cold & tumble dry low with like colors to preserve them, avoiding color-safe bleach and very heavy fabric softeners.Hopefully, you will discover these are comfortable and long-lasting like I did.

I would like to state up front that I do like these. There are just a few things a perspective buyer needs to know first.These underwear are made with a great fabric. It's like a soft cotton, double thick T-shirt material. Stitching seems nice and heavy but not at all chafing. The covered waistband is very comfortable. Now for the bad stuff. There was some loose threads in the stitching on all pairs but, after several wears and washing the stitching isn't coming loose so it's just poor finish work. The style of cut for the seat area is not for an individual with a butt. It's pretty flat back there. If you've got some junk in your trunk you better not be packing much up front or these could get a bit uncomfortable. They are advertised as having a 6" inseam but they don't. As you can see in the picture it's 4 1/4". 1 3/4" on an inseam for underwear is missing a lot of inseam. These are a boxer brief but are closer to an in between hybrid. Not as loose as an actual boxer but not as snug as an actual boxer brief. I also feel it needs to be stated that in most all the reviews I read, it was stated that these run a bit small in the sizing. This is absolutely not the case. If anything they run quite a bit large for the size. If you are one whom felt these ran a bit small then you've been kidding yourself on the size you actually need.

These used to be great boxer briefs, but the past several times I’ve bought these they’ve had loose stitches, or unravel fresh out of the package. The unraveling is usually around the waistband or the elastic in the legs which makes wearing them uncomfortable. It’s a shame that Gildan has let these quality control issues affect their formerly great product. I will be looking for another brand to replace Gildan as my go to. Don’t waste your money here, as you’ll just be replacing what you bought within a short time anyway,,

The 12 pair I have now are 12 years old and still wearable, some are showing age do I figured I’d restock.I like that they don’t squish my grapes like other brands and you can’t argue with 12 year durability.

They fit well

I dont know what this style of boxer briefs are called but I'm a big fan of the waist band being the same material as the rest of the underwear. I wouldn't work out in these tho they are the opposite of moisture wicking and breathable but they are exactly what im looking for comfortability wise. only complaint is that they simply aren't made for my proportions, the waist band is the perfect size for my approximate 30 to 31 inch waist but there is a bunch of space around the groin so basically 0 support in my case since i have thin thighs it isnt pulled tighter like i would assume it is supposed to be causing the look of them to be not as flattering as I'd like, i think the small rather than medium might fit better around the groin, but I'm cautious of buying that size since I'd assume that it would cause the waist band to be too tight. Regardless, big fan of these and very happy with my purchase :)
