It works great.

I used to put my outdoor sensor by the porch, however it always read a few degrees too low. Now with this vented housing, my temperature is correct.

well made, lightweight with many ways to be attached to a wall and a post i got it on Prime Day, a bonus!

The plastic isn’t too strong but it serves its purpose and protects my weather station from the elements and gives me greater flexibility for mounting.

Star rating based on product cost vs quality of item. Bought for the convenience, moved my sensor to a different location to end the need for a ladder to service due sensor not reading or batteries needing replacement (had mounted on the north most side of my 2 story garage about 1 ft below overhang still got wet and I needed my 12ft ladder or ext ladder to reach) Kinda of a cheap (really cheap plastic in my opinion) product for the price, but if it can keep the sensor dry and prevent it from failing due to moisture I’ll be happy.

It does what it says on the tin. It protects the outdoor unit and looks good while doing it. I do like the fact they have created it from multiple copies of the same casting, nice bit of engineering there, but it’s way overpriced for what it is. It’s has the option of mounting via screws (supplied) or you can cable tie (also supplied) it to a gutter down pipe. The cable ties are a bit low quality though as by my own not paying attention I put it on upside down so needed to release the cable ties and they broke. Would have been better to have reusable ones supplied, but it’s installed and giving protection to the outdoor unit. If I had a 3d printer I’d have just printed an enclosure but until then this is the best option.

The unit looks as though it will provide more placement options for the outdoor module. It comes with multiple attachment accessories. Quality of manufacture is very good. I’ve attached it to a flag pole.
