MontblancEau de Toilette

I first discovered this aftershave many years ago at an airport duty free shop. I used to travel for business regularly and often killed time in duty free :-)Anyway, having discovered it, I was dismayed when I tried to buy a second bottle, as it just disappeared off the market. Even the Mont Blanc shops at the airport stopped selling it. The years went by, until out of idle curiosity I searched for it here on Amazon - success!For me some scents are light, citrusy or floral, making them suitable for day time use. Others are more woody, musky and spicy which I prefer for evenings. This fragrance however seems to cover both types, so never feels out of place or overwhelming - though it is quite powerful and should not be overdone.

It's never easy putting into words what something smells like. And even if you can, one person's fragrance is another person's pong. Still, not to be put off, I will gamely try anyway.According to Fragrantica.com 'Presence' is generally described as being in the 'warm spicy' genre of male fragrances with top notes of cinnamon, apple and tonka bean. Me? I would simply describe this as being a divinely *clean* smell that is unlike many if not all of the EDTs you're likely to find in most chain perfume shops.Once sprayed what immediately hits you is an intense, very concentrated generic 'soap' smell. It could even be described as having a harsh opening but by the dry down the edges are knocked off and it produces a wonderfully 'creamy' yet fresh punch. Pleasingly it is a potent fragrance that you don't have to go to town with to generate a decent sillage: just a few sprays will produce decent projection and the longevity is impressive (you'll still detect this fragrance at the end of the day after a morning application).To sum up; this is a distinctive, long-lasting, powerhouse of a scent that will get you noticed. It is both linear (i.e. not a complex aroma) yet still has mystery. Whatever it is it smells bloody great (and is very reasonably priced if you shop around).Well worth having in your collection whatever your taste.

Thought that I had bought a 100ml of the after shave. It turned out to be the 75ml which you can buy for £21. So beware!

I bought this for the first time a few years ago, and still i keep this a secret from all my friends and people that get a good whiff of this when i'm wearing this, its not as well know as the high street designer brands such as Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein which i like, but Presence is a smelling sensation. Even i wear it and thing blimey i smell good! So if you do buy this dont tell everyone about it...well not you close friends!

I was delighted to get nicely packed (not a single scratch)2 bottles of Mont Blanc Presence.I live in Paris at the moment and I couldn't get this Perfume in official Mont Blanc shops, so I am so relieved, that Parfum Emporium have them - new ones, nicely packed and very reasonably priced.Also, I've been getting spam emails about wrong delivery address at the time I've ordered and I didn't know, what those emails were at the time. When I contacted Parfum Emporium via email, they answered next day. They detailed how and when the order is going to be shipped. That helped me to indentify spam emails.
